Counting down...........0.5 more days before I leave Kemin. I can't wait to say goodbye to this company though I'll miss some of the staffs there like Shifu, SM, Mirin, Auntie and friends there. Working in Kemin did remind me of some memories during the attachment days with the Weiching, Yingfang and Patsy, plus now our juniors Siti, Terry, Philip and Jeffery. Some bad, some good, some funny moments. I prefer not to think of the bad one ahhaah. Still I think it's a relief to leave as soon as possible as it does not benefit working there in a long run. I wonder how will the lab will be again after I leave.......... sad and gloomy again?? Well there will be a replacement from JC, so hope she can spread some sunshine there (though JC still have to be babysitted) Tsk! Lol.
All in all to my pals in Kemin: Ganbate, stay cheerful and endure!

Never ever do that again
I'll never over drink again. Went for a christmas dinner with Jenny, Peishan, Cherie, Jas and Ewan at Jas's home. Had a great time there drunk! That Ewan brought Tequila for us to drink and everyone of us gluped down shots of the drink! In total I think I took 2 shots and 2 pops of tequila. Wasn't so drunk until after a while where my liver cannot process any more of the alchohol until my last drink. The effects are terrible. Got very high and sleepy, not mentioning tipsy. Then later vomitted out everything for a few times. In the end I just slept over while Ewan and Cherie left. I think the only one who wasn't so drunk was Jenny. All of us were zonked out. Then left in the morning for work, I thought the students were coming also so had to be responsible cause none of the perm staff in Microlab is working. Turned out no one came. :ol Spent my time in the lab sleeping. Now even as I'm typing, my stomach still feels queasy and I think I'm still feeling the effects of hangover. Uhhhh..........

Maggots Attack!
What the Hell! Today I was autoclaving our waste and guess what I found crawling in the media? MAGGOTS!! Those creepy crawlies that really freaks me out! White little slugs crawling around the glassware! EWWWWW!! I never dreamed that I got to see these stupid maggots again ever since last year! The waste media have not been autoclaved for a long long long time! Blame it on bad people management. Then after cooked these little crawlies at 121C for 60 minutes another tragedy happened, opened the damned door and poof! THE WHOLE LAB STANK OF ROTTING BODIES!!!!! Oh man, couldn't have my lunch properly, kept thinking of those maggots and the horrible smell! This lab is sure a goner. Lucky got Sook Mei to help me pour the stinking waste away, was so traumatised that I didn't dare to touch the maggot waste again.

Happy Happy
Hahaha so happy today! Alex is on leave, get a little breathing space. Got music playing again in the lab! Whoo Hoo! (I got my means of doing that). It's horrible without any music in the lab, it's just so dead. All quiet and gloomy. Music do perk people up!

Hi blogie
Hi blogie, I have not been writing for a long time, life is pretty sad and busy. No music, all quiet, I can't stand it! Dunno what Alex is thinking, now he's planning on getting Secondary school kids here???? And it's not attachment at all! WTH?
Anyway Christmas is coming! That's some consolation.

Gathering cancelled
Our gathering with the juniors is cancelled cause too many people could not make it last minute. So a very sorry to the guys and girls out there ya! Anyway at Kemin they recuited 2 new female temp staffs, 1 for Sara, the other for microlab. And guess what? They are just JC students!! OMG! How cheapo! The rate they pay JC students, I'm guessing is much much lower than a Poly graduate! Plus they are very inexperienced with very little lab work done in school. Sara was already complaining abt how she had to babysit her assistant. Somemore that girl just refuses to wear specs when she had such bad eyesight. Blur blur. Why not get Patsy?!! Life will be so much better. And today, the other girl came to work for a while. Maybe just a tour. I think she's a bit better than Biochem's one. Seems to be a bit smarter. Talked to her for a while while she's learning to fill pipette tips. Then she left during lunchtime. She's gonna replace me after my contract ends this year.
So as the gathering was cancelled, met up with Lance and Wee Long for dinner at the Starhub building in Orchard. Then headed on to Raffles hotel to a Pub called "Long Bar". It's my first time there, the atmosphere is quite nice, and it seems to be a very very popular hangout for ang mohs. 90% of the bar is filled with ang mohs! There was a live band performing also and they were fantastic! They performed Maroon 5's popular songs and quite a lot of disco songs by Earth, Wind and Fire. Must be a Taufik fan! Tried the authentic "Singapore Sling", it's quite nice, fruity plus alcoholic. Also there's an unlimited flow of peanuts haha. The whole bar was full of peanut shells. Left the place abt 2330 hrs and headed for home sweet home.

ANE X
3 Dec 04
Went back home from work, shagged, then received a call from Neil and Selene calling me to come down for ANE cause they still need manpower for the night walk. I was supposed to go for camp on the next day. So started packing up, then recieved another call from Ryan asking me to join him, Peishan and Ivy for lunch since he's just around. Came down to meet them then went to the hawker centre to accompany him to have his dinner. Ordered oyster omelette! Suddenly got a craving for that! Chit chatted until about 10 plus? Sent Peishan and Ryan to the bus stop before sending Ivy back home and finally back home again, started packing other stuffs. Reached NP about midnight, then crapping around (lack of sleep) before preparing for night walk. I hate night walk! Have to always wait for the f***ing participants just to scare them, and must wait for HOURS!! It's damn shitty especially when you need sleep. I missed scaring one grp cause I suddenly doze off to la la land before Hendry came to woke me up. Haha I guess Neil was desperately signalling me to scare them haha. Finally Night walk was over and got to sleep for the next day.
4 Dec 04
It's Station Games day! Neil, Aaron and I were the station masters for the most disgusting game of the camp.................BUTTER HILL. Basically it's a hill splattered with butter + oil + water + mud + sweat. The objective is to get up to the top of the hil within a time limit. It's not easy at all. This year's butter hill is the toughest cause our canvas sheet are new and smoooooth. It was fun torturing the participants.......Whahahaha. Some teams were really great! But at the end washing up was shitty, oily all over, I just threw away my unwanted clothes. In the night, the sky was very clear! Took my scope and started to stargaze around, look at Saturn, messier objects... it's been a long time since I touched my scope. Stargaze until sian, went to sleep.
5 Dec 04
Last day of camp! It's time to break camp with all the photo takings and cheering and singing. The participants don't want to go home yet!!! Took so long waiting for them to go haha. I must congratulate our chairman and comm members for such a wonderful ANE 10 for the participants. Good job!
6 Dec 04
Argggg back to work. Today was not a good day for me. I screwed up my experiment again! One of the stupid flask spilled while shaking in the incubator!! And I was going to do my FOX-2 test on that! I'm so pissed with "toot" also. I think the microlab is a goner. Biohazard hood got gas leak, materials always run out, Lab not UVed. Grrrrr. There's a new project student today from NUS and she will be doing H2O2 tests, so she will be most likely under the "toot". Hope she won't be suffering cause she's a female.

Goodbye
Bye Siti, bye Jeffery, bye Philip, bye Terry. Well even today is Philip's last day, there's still lots of work for him. From morning busy until 5 pm, reminds me of Yingfang's neverending work. Anyway dispite changing so many dates I can never get everyone to be free. Guess after graduation everyone's so busy. I haven't seen Patsy since graduation! So final date is 10 December OK? Anyway I wonder what's life in the lab next week? As much as I like to complete my experiments, I love to leave it hanging for the someone to figure out. Sounds complicated? Office politics are worse.

1 Month....
It's been a month already since I started work in Kemin, but it seemed like a long time. Well, guess my enlistment will not be in the december period. Too bad Neil, I won't be joining you as your buddy. Well today Dr Koh came again to visit his students and brought along someone..........Dr Zaman! Apparently she was there for a tour around the lab, everyone thought she will be the next teacher in charge for the students after Dr Koh leaves but too bad she isn't, so it's still a mystery who's the next. Well I guess because she's in charge of Eric who is the Lab tech for the Ribotype machine (only 2 exists in Singapore!) in Ngee Ann Poly and the machine seems to be malfunctioning. Always. Well Dr Koh brought her here so Alex dun have to go through Dr Koh to use the Ribotyper, since he won't be in school by then. Hiaz, Siti, Philip, Terry and Jeffery will be leaving Kemin tomorrow although it won't be forever cause they have to come back for Project time stated in their timetable, but the lab will be lonely again. Less crapping around and Bae Yong Jun jokes haha. Tomorrow is Kemin's activity day, almost everyone is leaving at 4 pm for some activity in East Coast Park, BUT I can only leave at 5 pm cause I'm not going. Arggg.

Enlistment?
Woohoo, took whole day leave for tomorrow's medical checkup. I hope it is fast, cause it's always so screwed up at CMPB. The waiting times are horrible, extremely horrible. The last time I was there I had to wait over 2 hours just to see the stupid Medical Officer which took just less than 5 min to examine me. Even if you come early in the morning, still have to wait. Grrrr look what NS done to these ppl.

24 Hours awake
Friday was a damn tiring day for me. Cause of a new stupid experiment, I stayed in the Lab till almost 9 pm! Damn this experiment can't be done by 1 person alone! Well anyway I screwed up in the end so it's a bit of a wasted thing. But I gotta thank Philip for helping me. In the whole afternoon none of the perm staff are in the Microlab, leaving me and the Siti, Philip and the NYP students, so I sorta got "promoted" by Sook Mei to be in charge. Thank god no one died haha. Finally reached home at about 10 pm, ate my dinner and gotten myself ready to go for ANE 10 training camp. Basically it's holding well, but seems like the banned people are trying to overturn astro club again. Anyway trained the Logistics in their up-scopes, making them up-scope in total darkness and alignment. Skies are bad though so can't do any real "Obbing". Finally slept at abt 0600 hrs. which is almost the time that I woke up for work! So a full 24 hours of being awake! Recieved news that the next intake for Army is in 11 December! I think I got a high chance of entering this batch, Neil is already enlisted for this date, dunno about Eugene though. If this is really my enlistment date given to me soon on 30th November, I'm gonna quit my job the next day! Yay!

Half-day!
Took a half-day on Monday to watch the Incredibles with Jenny, Cherie, Reb and Neil. Well I should deserve a break once in a while! While on the way to Sembawang MRT, Jenny suddenly called up ask me to go find the Jack-jack pillow from Macdonalds there since the one at Novena was sold out. Aiyo suddenly screaming for the pillow, dunno got what craving she developed.... Anyway seems that the Mac at Sembawang doesn't have the pillow yet, but I'm so hungry I decided to eat first haha. Cause you have to buy a meal to purchase the pillow, then met up with Jenny at Orchard and there they got sell hahaha! Too bad for Jenny I have eaten already lol. Anyway together meet up with Cherie, Peishan, Peishan's sis, Reb and Neil at PS. Gosh so many ppl, in the end Cherie got us the 6.30 pm show cause the afternoon timings were left with lousy seats. Then waste time walking ard in Orchard and window shopping (argh.......girls), play a bit of arcade before finally watching the movie. Well the movie was nice, it's sure to entertain kids but not much of funny jokes unlike Finding Nemo and Shrek 2. After that had dinner and meet with Peishan and Peiyan in Orchard back again. Saw Ivy after meeting up with them, then again walked to Far East Plaza. So far......... sat around before Neil and I decided to go home, so shagged that I just took a cab. Dun wanna walk all the way back just to get a bus. Well the light ups for Orchard were bad, nothing much to see at all. I guess the best light up goes to Tangs for the droplets light. Beautiful.

Hmmmm new way of insulting??
Hmmmm I just thought, the word "contaminate" is a very vulgar word to Microbiologists around the world. I think they will freak out when they hear this word. Hmmmm let me add it to the "Vulgar words for budding scienists" list.
Contaminate
v. to make impure, taint, foul
Example:
1. Stop messing around or I'll contaminate you!
2. What the contamination are you doing??
3. Come'on quit contaminating around and start working!
Hmmmm I'm sure some of you can think of examples much better than me Haha!

Happy Birthday!
Happy 21st Birthday Marcus!
It's a fine day on Saturday, quite a packed schedule actually. Well woke up around 1130 am to have my breakfast of Katong Laksa which my mother bought, then went to Clementi Macdonalds to meet SK for lunch and chat. Since I was at Mac I decided to try my luck to see if there is the white Hello Kitty, however it's sold out........awwww damn. Guess it's really very popular. Later went to Singapore Polytechnic for a Singastro Festival. It's a festival on Astronomy with talks by different guests on astronomy. Some of the talks are really captivating especially the one on making your own telescopes. Wow it's really hard work just polishing the 2 pieces of glass. It can take up to a few months I think on just grinding and polishing.
There's a surprising incident happened while accompaning SK to Clementi MRT. We were walking in the walkway almost reaching the control station where suddenly my friend caught hold of a guy who just walked past us. Apparently this guy actually pickpocketed my friend's handphone! Luckily my friend was quick to notice and caught the guy. The pickpocketer looks quite young also abt JC age like that. But my friend let the guy go after getting his HP back. Gosh, if I were him I would send him straight to the police. These pickpockters will never learn their lessons! He shouldn't have given him a chance.
Anyway at about 7 pm, Neil and I headed to Marcus home and celebrated his 21st birthday with the league! Whaha our presents we got him a kinky underwear and the MP3 player. Glad he like the presents!

Happy Depavali
Hey hey! Half day! So happy just having half day today. Well, Kemin just had a new President coming in for a visit today. Well the old President was posted to Belgium so a new President was transferred from HK I think. Well basically he's Greek, quite stern and strict looking. Wonder how much is he paid....... Do you know that one of Singapore's CEO is paid more than 3 million dollars per year??!! 3 freaking million dollars!! That's how many times of what I earn! Anyway earn so much also dunno what to spend on. Ya then here comes the freaking rich sons/daughters to help you spend the money on women, cars and booze.
Well stayed at home today to sleep, watch animes and play Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault. Really a great game, bought it last week but didn't have the chance to really play it until now. I got the DVD version. But it's damn freaking hard. The whole game was crawling with Japanese soldiers!! BanZAI!!
So the next game is Half Life 2.
Marcus's Birthday is coming!! Gotta get him a prezzie!

Look what stress did to me..
I did something drastic today. Did something to my hair. Although I found the result is super cool. Very much like Hyde. If you are wondering how Hyde looks like this:
Yep it's abt that colour. Now to elaborate about hyde, he's the vocalist for a very popular J-band L'arc~en~ciel. He has an amazing voice which is able to reach quite a high falsetto and he's a very good lyricist. If only I can sing like him haha.
Met up with Lance and went for a karaoke seesion with his friends, it's been a long time since I saw him, then went to pasir ris beach for dinner. It's really true when we guys go in NS and once we come out we will never stop talking about our NS life in there haha.

There's going to be more of this stuffs, arggg tiring long there isn't really a time to rest. Heavy rain today afternoon, in fact it was pouring!!! Basket even under shelter got rain splashing on my face. Finally saw the black and white Hello Kitty. In fact the black kitty is really nice! Might get that also...

Wow first NS now this....
Received a special mail today, somemore must be sent personally by the postman.
On it states:
On Govenment Service
Hmmm.... is it my army stuff? Rippp..... Nope. It's Ministry of Health. Dear Sir/Madam..... blah blah blah....... Congratulations! You are eligible and will be donating your organs, kidney, liver, cornea and heart after your death. What?????!! Since when donating organs is compulsory also??? I'm greatly appalled by this that other than NS, organ donation has become a compulsory service. It seems like this is a new move by the govenment to encourage pledging your organs by making it compulsory to all new citizens for our generations. I asked my mum whether did she receive a similar letter too, she said nope, somemore she heard that many other parents also receieved the letters for their children (could be just for NS men like us only since death rate seems quite high). Well there is an option to reject the compulsory pledging if you don't want to donate. Anyway it's OK to pledge my organs for someone who needs it greatly as it can save someone else life. But it's quite a taboo and very shocking to receive such a letter suddenly especially for parents whose son is serving the NS, they should announce in the news of this thing. Such shocking letter will cause quite an upcry in the older generations. Many parents were totally clueless about the mystery letter. Gosh.

A new month
1st November lo! Well another month has passed by, well didn't do much during the weekends except staying at home sleeping, playing computer games, playing the guitar (or creating noises hehe). So it's work again! Today the two NYP students came to Kemin for dunno what, one of them looked a bit like my friend, Alvin. Bah, sometimes they just disappear, and on 2 different occasions, Alex, then later sook may came to the lab and ask me where they are. How do I know??? I'm not a GPRS tracker! Hahah Philip's so funny, saying they went 'jalan jalan', of course not in front of Alex lah. But they took my media to pour mistaking theirs for mine! Hello? Can you read your own hand writing??? Anyway next week there will be quite a lot of holidays whoo hoo!

Overtime
ARgg!! What the hell, my first OT in the first WEEK!!! And it's on Friday! I'm supposed to leave at 5 pm!!! Which kuku invented FOX-2 assay in the first place???? It's so damn long and wasteful! Lucky I'm entitled to taxi claim or else dunno what time I'll reach home. I don't wanna reach home at 11 pm from work!

Big Boss arrives.....
Work again today, well it's Thursday! Today is the day of the arrival of the Big Boss, Chris Nelson. Everyone was quite jittery, get to clean up the lab abit, most of the tidy up was done by Jeffery, so just sat around ahaha. I found that Jeffery and Philip loves to clean up the lab everytime, morning and before the end of the day. I'll just wash up my stuff and whatever is in the sink. Well Dr Koh dropped by today to visit his students on their project. He didn't know I was here, so when I came out to greet him he's very shocked! It was really funny to see his shocked face, I bet it's the same face when he saw Yingfang working there also.
Hmmmmmmmmm so this is his expression in ascii: 0_0!
After the students meeting with Alex and Dr Koh they became stressed again................so gloomy. Jeffery's face was all black! But they'll be fine later, wonder why Jeffery always laugh when he talks to me.... anyway he does that to everyone he talks too haha. Talking about gloomy, I think the lab I'm working in has a very dark and gloomy feeling, giving a very stressful environment........no wonder. Sara's (my ex-mentor) lab has a very happy feeling when I'm in it! Anyway Chris Nelson came to the lab for a look, well he quite a typical american, though he seems to give that aura that he is able to spot any mistakes you make however small..
Everyone was asking if I regret working here, well the answer is yah, if not for the pay and some of the dear friends I have here, I won't even work here. Haha.

New job, new work
It's been 2 days since I started work. Oh manz so tiring..........non stop work work, standing till my legs are sore, so many things to do! And I'm actually assisting 2 staffs, no, 3 including my manager to do their work. Deadline here and there, and heard that the Big Boss flown from US will be here to officially open the new buiding and lab which I'm situated in, he's already made a surprise visit on Monday! Wow. Well tomorrow got more work. I'm glad got my juniors and my nice colleagues to accompany me. Haha thanks to Yingfang, I warmed up super quick with Jeffery and Philip on the first day already, poor guys ahaha now I'm suffering with you all.
Oh ya I came across this newspaper article saying that Excessive swearing causes men to be impotent and females to develop male characteristics (example moustache). Ya so guys out there please try not to swear too much or else you might never have a wonderful sex life.

Hehehe well after leaving I gave one away and brought home two....... made somemore for my friends too. I should sell these for $1 huh! Cheaper than Hello Kitty! And they can dance! Hahahah!

Last Day at IRAS
Hooray! Today is my last day of work! At 5 pm, Eugene, Jenny and I decided to go celebrate by watching a movie.........but when we reached orchard, went to Lido........no show, so went to Cathay..........no show haha, sian. In the end we ate at Sakae Sushi at HMV as both of them had a craving for sushi. But sushi buffet over liao, so we went for ala carte sushi!!!! And for the first time we tried cold SAKE. Not very used to the taste as it has a very unpleasant before and after taste, a very alcohol taste. Down abt 3 cups...... stop, feeling a bit bloated after eating so much, Jenny best dunno how many cups she drank, at first she gave a very weird face after tasting it, later she found it sweet after a few cups. Hmmm seems drinking sake needs aquired taste also. *Impressed*.
As we slowly sipped our sake and trying to get each other drunk, Eugene as usual crapping alot ahahahah, actually everyone is crapping! (it's the sake!!). Later started talking abt those lovey dovey moments. Well I find that finding love is isn't easy, falling in love is very easy. Honestly I tend to like a person quite easily after getting to know her more, but after a few rejections I have been keeping my emotions in check, never to fall in love again. Eugene aka love expert told me: Spot potential targets, there's only 4 singles left in our League, you, Neil, Ewan and Leroy. Jenny aka Lovey dovey expert: After NS it's EVEN HARDER to FIND a girlfriend, Look at my brother.............single! Well, I don't know when I will meet miss right, maybe tomorrow, next month, years, never or she may be actually the person whom I knew all along. I think I'm quite a bad lover hahaha, I think I'll drive my gf to madness...........

Sky Captain And The World Of Tomorrow
Watched the show at Lido today with Peishan, Ewan and Jenny. Wasn't a very good show, it's quite blur, literally. Well I guess the director wanted an old film feeling in the show where there where brownish film screening, softness in the motion effect and cheezy dialogues. The story was pretty much a blur too until near the end where you finally realized what the heck is going on. The soft effect was too much and it was quite irritating on the eyes when watching this. CG effects are nice though. Although the show had a old film feeling I can't help but felt that the show is disappointing despite of the hype.

Sunday is a love and hate day. Love it cause it's a day to relax, then hate it cause the next day is Monday. How contradicting right? Well I'm gonna change job soon, from tax officer back to a researcher? WELL............ don't really know what to talk about. Got to see Ryan again online after 2 weeks! He's giving us advices................better train well before you go into the Army. O oh.......I think I better start running, I'm just not good at distance running since young. Maybe because I'm quite a weak boy since young, not enough Chi. Well I think it's time to changed my blog to a new design soon.

Couldn't really sleep last night, it's the caffine from my Latte that was keeping me awake. I should slap myself for taking coffee in the late night. Bleah. In the morning, went to the airport with my family to send my father off as he's going to Indonesia for a few days. Bought myself another new book today, called "Rich Dad, Poor Dad". It's quite an old book already but it's quite interesting when I browsed it. Played my guitar today, my playing was horrendous. Not a very condusive day to play the guitar, couldn't sing well also (maybe all along my voice suck hahahaha). I feel like taking guitar lessons cause I think I reached my limit for self-learning but I'm going to NS soon so it's useless now. I want to learn bass, piano and the drums too! Haha I'm so greedy. Maybe I should try being a bassist cum guitarist. So cool, like Tetsu. It's Monday again tomorrow.......... so sian back to IRAS for work, but at least there's something to do tomorrow, I love lunchtime, there's always funny crappy friends to entertain us!
Went out with Weiching on Saturday cause I wanted to buy an Astro book for myself and also to teach the juniors but amazingly she mistook that I was going to look for a present. I wonder how did that happen? Haaha, anyway we met at 4pm then went to Kinokuniya to look for my Astro book before settling on the "Astronomy Demystified", the rest of the books are damn expensive. Later went to the library to slack and wait for time to pass, before walking to the Waraku restaurant at the Starhub building. It's becoming my new fav eating place after I discovered it while walking aimlessly a few months ago. So we waited in the restaurant for Yingfang as she is late while deciding what to eat. I ordered my Asahi beer as usual while waiting for the girl to come. Later all of us chatted, had our dinner, then went for a walk to heeren as Yingfang need to change her watch strap, then walked to takashimaya, finally to City hall to drink coffee at the city link. Argggg, the latte is so Expensive for it's size! SO SMALL. Seems that I had no luck in drinking coffee of late, also I keep spilling my drink, dunno why. Well it's quite a long time since I met the girls again, the last time was in the hospital, nothing much chged about them. It's good to see them again, but Patsy wasn't there. When it's time to move on, move one yah. Oh YA, I saw the CNA newscaster Suzanne Ho while leaving the cafe, Yingfang was pointing to her to me. SHE'S TALL! I love watching her every morning on the bus! HAhaah she's very pretty and always brighten up my day!

You are a RPIT--Reserved Practical Intellectual Taker. This makes you a Love Geek.Heh heh -- you love geek! You are weirdly sexy. It doesn't take people a long time to get to know you, but people *think* it takes a long time, because you are as cool and regulated after a year as you are on a first meeting. You don't tend to date casually -- you just suddenly find yourself in long term relationships. Your approach to conflict is your greatest asset -- it complements almost every other type. You don't express yourself or your feelings in dramatic terms, but you will speak up to those who do. You are generally calm, but capable of ramping up, and you don't give up until the issue is resolved -- this means even the hottest temper or coolest conflict-avoider can feel comfortable pursuing their satisfaction with you. And you don't hold a grudge -- you get through it, and it's done. You rock. Sure, you like the sex. And you communicate with your partner well, so you're good at it. But it's not something you would make jokes about or bring up in polite company (not that you don't appreciate that kind of humor). You're no prude, but that's just not your style. You'd make an excellent parent. You enjoy food and can be a ravenous eater. A good cook will get your attention quickly.Of the 120733 people who have taken this quiz, 5.3 % are this type.

Then later went over to the Kissmiss area where we had our BBQ, but the guys wasn't doing very well with starting a fire, Neil was there too. So everyone took turns to create a fire, still not so good. Must be bad quality charcoals. We had maggi mees while waiting for the members to cook the food, so hungry! Then chat ard and as usual crap with each other and finally play sparklers!! It's been a long time since I played sparklers. Then we got our photographer to take photos for us, by the time we ended it was about 11 pm. But it was a fun day!

Outing (01/10/2004)
Had a last minute outing with Jenny, Peishan, Ewan and Jasmine in Orchard. Went down to Orchard after work with Jenny to meet them and while waiting we did a bit of shopping. Jenny bought this humongous bag which I think you can put a living toddler in it! Why women like to carry super big handbags? Dunno what they store in them. Anyway we met in Taka and went for dinner at Magic Wok in Far East, cheap and Ok dinner. Next we went to Coffee Club next to the Canifornia GYM. I ordered a Tiramisu Latte - It sucks, no alchohol taste at all which it stated. After a sucky coffee, Ewan got craving for sea hum, so our next stop was the open hawker near centrepoint. Got us a table but lacked a seat so got one frm the next table, two pretty ladies and one guy sitting so ask if I can take the chair, the girl seemed a bit blur, the guy nicely said ok. Didn't realized that the two girls were japanese until Ewan told me haha, well at least I smiled at one girl and she smiled back. ;P Finally we our last stop is at PS where we chatted more until we decided to go home. Jas and I took 65 back but waited for the damn bus for an hour! We took 64 instead and then change to 61. So dead tired back home haha.
Sat (02/10/2004)
It's Saturday! Went down alone to Penisula Plaza to buy a pair of shoes cause I got a sudden urge to get a new pair of shoes........maybe to replace the one I bought 3 years ago hehe. Got myself a blue converse sneakers, loved the cool blue colour. Then went to Marina square to buy a 5Kg dumbbell to train, after that dragged the dumbbell all the way back home. Whew!

Time to blog again! Again friends are going to NS soon...........aiyo so lonely now. Anyway won't be going for Astro this Friday cause I had something on. Finally the school's giving money to CCA clubs after a scandal featured on Streats last year. So there's lots of things to buy huh. Anyway the guys and gals are back from Hong Kong, seems like they had lots of fun! So if anyone going to Astro pls tell Kim Koon on my wish list here:
1. A VLT( Very large telescope)...............ok that even you sell the sch also cannot afford.
2. A Omni Theatre........so we can watch documentries on the BIG SCREEN!
3. Hubble Telescope..............we are waiting for it to falllll......
4. A Observatory on Bukit timah Hill................NOW that is ROMANTIC
5. A HUGE FAN.................Astro club is a natural hell.......WELCOME! Muahahahhaha!
6. Knifes................so we can hunt wild boars on Ubin
7. HAM!???....................That's for Neil only
8. Air CON!!....................always wanted that for astro club
9. Air Tickets Around the world..................North pole, South pole, penguins
10. Space ship......................You know what.
11. Chio bus................I don't know why Astro club is cursed.
Ok it's abit too far fetched I think I'll reconsider my wishes at a later date.

Poor me, I have never gone overseas before in my life, the furthest was only Malaysia and that was freaking donkey years ago and the most "overseas" I've gone is Ubin!! Just $2 to get there! Haha no money to go overseas. *Sigh* travelling is so expensive. Leroy was planning this trip to HK few weeks later, was interested but it's expensive for me. I think I can only pay for the airfares, sad huh. Then when I got the chance to go overseas there is always work which interfers with my trip. First was Australia, next Kuala Lumpur, all cannot go due to work! I feel like a workoholic. My dream trip is to go Japan for a holiday or to find a girlfriend hahaha romantic huh. Haha I hope can make a trip there after NS and before my University semester starts with my friend or girlfriend (maybe she's there waiting!). Ah well better stop babbling before someone whines at me.

Went out with the gang on Friday night, well actually it was a last min decision. The story goes like this, so was at school having Observation with my Astro ppl and Ryan was going jogging and HI club later. So he agreed to sms me when he's done to meet the gang later. So astro astro astro then meet him at LT73, to meet him, I have to walk to and from blk 73 and Q&E blk twice! Wat an excercise. So we took 154 to clementi. In the bus saw a pretty girl, so happily "bio" at her until Ryan told me that she's his pri sch friend! Hahaha such a coincidence! later out of the bus at the mrt we approached Pei Jian (the girl) and he had a little chat with her while I continue to look haha. Then took the train to City hall to meet the gang, and Leroy just came back frm HK with goodies! Thx for the biscuits! Then they talked abt going overseas to HK or Macau.........hmmm no money haha. Finally we went to bugis to have supper eating duck rice. It's quite ex sia, and wasn't very nice but at least can make us full. Finally reached home and slump into my bed ZZZzzzzzz.

Gee............... HL2 is not coming any sooner, with so much delays and bad luck, how much are we going to wait?? Well at least The SIMS 2 is coming soon! Played the first game and found it very interesting to play. It's like playing GOD! Make them happy, sad or torture them whatever you want! HAhAHA! And just nice pay is coming soon too. IRAS is getting lonelier, soon many ppl will be leaving... Cherie then Ryan. Not much lunch partners liao haha. Then Neil's com is infected with spywares that are almost impossible to get rid of, so ask him to install SP2 see can ease the problem abit. Now he's bitching about his sister going into some undesirable sites to dl mp3. Poor brother.

Upgraded my XP to SP2. Well doesn't seem to have any significant changes except the security features having a firewall and detects if you have antivius switched on. Other than that feels the same. But felt that my computer HD space is getting smaller and smaller haha. 10 gig just for the XP program is gonna run out! Left abt 400 MB left, and all are program applications!. My the other HD partitions are for Movies, animes, games and music. Getting mood swings again, so forgive me if I'm very cold to you.

New Look
Ta Da! Changed my blog to a new template, wanna give it a new coat of paint since Neil finds it too "girly". (Hey look at your target audience! Haha) Loved doggies so chanced upon this doggy template and made a few changes with MS Frontpage. Took me faster to reedit the whole HTML code using the software, since I used to use notepad to write the codes everytime. Cut, paste, type and..............whola!
Then watched AVP during the weekends. It's disappointing, cause it's not scary at all. C'mon, the past Aliens movie were much creepier. The predator is so-so, but the blade is cool. BUT the Predator as a good guy?? I rather have him as a bad guy, much more cool and kicks real ass. Heck the storyline should be placed in the future during the Alien era. Manz it should follow like this:
The story starts with a ship moving across space, then a group of marines landed onto a deserted outpost after recieving a emergeny breakdown. Marines started to explore the outpost, then something got very wrong. Aliens started sneaking up killing 1 marine after another. Then all the marines have to escape back to the ship, being chased by hundreds of aliens jumping around all over. When they were abt to reach their ship, their ship got blasted into pieces by a predator starship! Ya the aliens were blasted too, and the remaining quicky ran away. Nowhere to run, the marines have to hide. This is where the HUNT BEGINS.............
Now isn't that cooler? Well this could be the story of AVP2 haha. Better copywright this lol.

Gemini
Germini
The twins
Uranus and Pluto were discovered in Germini. In Greek mythology, Castor and Pollux were twin heroes. The two were born from an egg laid by Leda after she was seduced by Zeus in disguise of a swan. Yet it was said that Pollux was the son of Zeus and Castor was the son of Tyndareus. The two brothers were good companions and became gods, patrons of athletes and protectors of saliors at sea. Castor & Pollux had power over the winds and waves. Castor became famous a rider of horses while his brother Pollux became equally skilled at boxing and fighting battles.
The twins were raised by the centaur Chiron (now the constellation Sagittarius) and later joined Jason and the Argonauts in search of the Golden Fleece.
Eventually they decided to take wives and selected the two beautiful daughters of the king of Sparta. Now it happened that the two women were already married to Idas and Lynceus, cousins of the twins. But this seems to have made little difference to the Twins. They simply carried the girls off and settled down with them. The two cousins were not bothered by this. A few years later, the cousins, in friendly company of the Twins, made a joint raid on some cattle. It was said that trouble between the two pairs of thieves began when they tried to divide the cattle among themselves.
Idas had the solution. He hacked one of the cows into four equal pieces and said whichever two individuals completely finished eating their quarters first would divide the spoils. This took the Twins off guard and they watched helplessly as their two cousins wolfed down their quarters of the cow. Idas and Lynceus then drove off the entire herd.
Tricked, Castor and Pollux vowed to get even with their cousins. Within a few days they set out after the two cousins to recover their share of the cattle. During the fighter that followed, Idas killed Castor with a spear. Infuriated over the loss of his twin brother, Pollux chased his cousins and killed Lynceus with a single blow. Just as Idas was about to hurl a tombstone at Pollux, Zeus came to Pollux's aid and hurled a thunderbolt at Idas, killing him on the spot. Pollux, the immortal son of Zeus, begged to die so that he would not be separated from his brother. Not even the mighty Zeus could do such a thing so he placed them together in the sky as the constellation Germini, the twins.

Went for the Fireworks Festival '04 on Sunday with Ryan, Neil, Selene, Max and Junhao. On the eve we were planning where will we be positioned at. Then on the actual day Ryan and I went there early to "book" a place for phototaking at 4 pm. We took a place just outside the Esplande near the bridge. While waiting we felt a bit hungry so we had Romly burgers which were sold there, not really fantastic but it made our stomachs a bit happier. So the guys came and it started to rain. But we got umbrellas and stayed at our spot refusing to go. The rain subsided and more people flocked to the area as the time draws near. 8.00 pm, no fireworks yet, we were abt to sian 1/2 suddenly the first fireworks shot out giving us a scare! Then all the photographers started snapping furiously trying to get as much shot as possible. Fireworks were all over! Then it ended quickly with a grand finale of shower of RAIN!! hahaha That's all folks, my photos can be seen under the gallery named "New Album".

Capricornus
Capricornus (Capricon)
The Sea Goat
There is a confusion over how Capricornus came to be. Some say that he represents the Shepherd-god Pan. Others say that he was quite a different god, Aegipan. Now so terrible was the sight of Typhon that Zeus himself is said to have changed himself into the form of the ram, Aries, and remained that way for a while. The other gods also changed themselves into animal forms. Aphrodite and Eros, for example transformed themselves into the two fishes Pisces.
Zeus reappeared in his own form and prepared to do battle with Typhon, Zeus was defeated. Typhon cut out the tendons of Zeus' hands and feet. This made him helpless to move. He then hid the tendons in a cave in the land of Cilicia. To guard the tendons, Typhon selected the dragon-woman Delphyne, half-serpent and half-woman. Now Delphyne wasn't a very good guard and permitted the tendons to be stolen by the gods Hermes and Aegipan. Aegipan, like the other gods, had transformed himself into an animal to escape detection by Typhon. He had jumped into the river when Typhon approached. But he was already halfway submerged before he thought of what form of animal he would wear. He decided to be a goat. So a goat he became, but only from the waist up. From the waist down he took the form of a fish. Aegipan and Hermes managed to steal the tendons of Zeus and return them, making Zeus once again as fit as ever. His strength regained, Zeus unleashed all his fury and killed the monster Typhon by hurling thunderbolts at him. For Aegipan's role in this battle against the Titans, Zeus gave him an honored place in the sky as the constellation Capricornus. Capricornus' history can also be traced to Babylonian times. And his appearance then was as it is now, half-fish and half-goat. The Arabs, Persians, Turks and Syrians all knew Capricornus as the Goat. In certain parts of the Orient, the constellation was known as the Southern Gate of the Sun, indicating that it is in this constellation that the Sun reaches its lowest point on the ecliptic and thereafter begins to appear higher and higher each day.

New songs
Created a new classical song recently when I was just playing around with my guitar. So I recorded it down and posted it up. There are some hiccups along the way ahah as I'm not so good at it but I made it very easy to play for beginners just you need a good coordination of your fingerings. It's a fusion of a classical song "Romance" and my own piece giving out an atmosphere of Tragedy and erieeness. Any comments appreciated!

Aquarius
Aquarius
The water carrier
Neptune was discovered in Aquarius in 1846. Aquarius is an old constellation. As the Water Carrier he is carved in the stones of the Babylonian Empire and probably is still older than that period. Aquarius as the God of waters must have been regarding as a good god by some and a bad god by others, depending on the prevailing of their region. To the Egyptians, Greeks, and others who lived in lands plagued by a dry climate, Aquarius surely was looked on as a kindly god who brought rain when they were most needed during the planting season. The Babylonians looked on Aquarius as a bad god and referred to the month when the Sun was in Aquarius as the monthe of the "the curse of rain". In ancient Greece, Aquarius is identified with a man and his wife known as Deucalion and Pyrrha. According to the myth, in 1500 B.C., Aquarius caused a great flood to wash over Earth. Deucalion's father advised his son and wife to build a great boat and stock it with provisions. They did and the two floated in the world-sea for nine days and nine nights. Eventually they ran aground on Mount Parnassus. Safe but lonely, the two sole survivors of Earth walked about as the waters became lower and exposed more and more land. What were the two to do? They appealed to an oracle and were told to "...throw over your shoulders the bones of your mother."
Deucalion guessed that "the bones of Mother Earth must be stones." So as the two walked along they picked up stones and kept tossing them over their shoulders. After a while they looked behind them and there were people. The stones that Deucalion had thrown had become men and those thrown by Pyrrha had become women.
And so Aquarius became known as the taker of life and the giver of life. This myth of a world flood and then a rebirth of life on Earth is a common one and cam be found in many myths. In Egyptian mythology, he pours water into the Nile River at the season when the Nile normally overflows its banks, this brings the much needed water to the farmlands bordering that great river. The Arabs, dependent on the water of the rainy season, saw Aqarius as a bucket because their religion forbids them from showing pictures of any living form. In modern times this constellation was immortalized by the counterculture of the 1960's, which proclaimed the Age of Aquarius. This was a bit premature as the Aquarian age will not actually begin for another 600 years. As astrological age is identified by the name of the constellation in which the vernal equinox(the position of the Sun on the first day of spring, March 12) is located. This location moves slowly from one zodiac constellation to the next as a result of Earth's procession.

Super Size Me was a very good documentry. It idolises the horrors of eating too much fast food very well hahahaha. But I guess for Singapore this problem does not really have much of and impact as the burgers are so tiny. But as always shouldn't eat too much fast food. Now it's proven that it's bad for your health. HAha Supersize, Supersize, the American size~ la la la

Hmmmm blogger seems to change abit again. Well went for an international buffet on Friday night with Ewan, Leroy and Marcus at Taka. Well that's the Genghis Khan! Met Ewan at 6 pm, Marcus and Leroy would be later hence we started eating first. The oysters there were super huge! Ate 2 and I'm sick of it already. Ewan ate 5!!! Hahaha I think he's having nightmares on shells. We ate as many as we could until we were damn full. Sushis, shashimis, abalones, crabs, tempura, chawan mushi, lobster salad, assorted flavours of teas, sweet cakes, fruits and much more! I think this will be my first and last time eating there hahaha. Ate from 6 to 10 until the restaurant chased us away. Had to take a walk in Orchard for digestion. Money spent again haha.

Watched Brotherhood with Neil, Ewan and Peishan. Supposed to be Neil and I. Then found out Ewan got booked out so called Ewan and Peishan along since we are out. They were planning to play pool with Ryan at first. Haha sorry Ryan snatch your playmates! Brotherhood was good and was very touching! I almost cried looking at the brothers fighting each other and crying and then separated. Very good show on emotions. Won Bin looks like Takuya Kimura in this movie! OOOooooo!

Trying to find a job now before my NS in December. Trying to find an admin job. Then got one recommendation from the agency so they send my resume over. Now waiting for a reply hahhhaha. Hmmmm getting by each day now don't even know what date it is today. Going for Astro tomorrow hoping maybe to give a lecture. Then watched 50 first dates today, the movie is not really full of laughter but it's a really sweet kind of movie! Admired his perseverance to get the girl. If I were him I would have long given up! hahahaha!

Photo Outing
Went out on a photo outing with Ryan on Sat cause he wanted to try out his new skills in photography. So we agreed to meet at Bugis BK at 3.30 pm. Just when I was to go out, the sky seems quite gloomly and seem like it's going to rain. But luckily the sun was out again and hence met Ryan and we went out on a photo hunting venture! First stop was the Guan Yin Temple at Waterloo street so snap snap snap. Everyday there's quite a lot of devoutees praying there. Then next is the indian temple beside it. After that we walked to the City Hall area. So on the way was explaining to Ryan on adjusting shutter speeds and aperture when taking shots. On the way snapped some pictures and then ask Ryan to try out macro shots on some flowers on the streets near Raffles hotel. So 2 idiots were crowding around a flower trying to take close up shots of 1 flower hahaha. The next destination was the Suntec City's Sky garden. When to Suntec and at the same time saw Hushie working at a restaurant (I forgot the name!). Ryan was trying to snap Hushie! Poor Hushie dunno why didn't see us at all while we were standing outside. Heard Dr Koh was coming to the restaurant to try out the food there.
After dinner, we went to the Esplanade to take more shots by that time it's already dark in the night. We spent hours walking around the city plus I was carrying my super heavy tripod around! Tiring! So in the night we were trying out taking night scenes of the Esplanade, Merlion, Supreme court, pretty tourists....... There was one guai beh beh looking at us when we were taking photos. Think he was peeking at the LCD screen. It's been a long time since I can finally go out and play after my operation!
Finally went back home at around 10 pm exhausted. Uploaded my photos and watching the "Eye" at the same time. Quite a scary movie! Finally slept like a pig hahhaha!

Black out
There was a blackout 2 days ago. Well it was quite sudden and I was about to bite into my late night snack when the whole place just snapped into darkness. I was going ARGGGGG!!! Where's my biscuit????!! My mom couldn't see where she was walking and also couldn't find a torch cause she forgot where she put it. Being able to see better in the dark thanks to years of astro I took my lightstick out which I kept from ANE 8. The whole estate was all dark. But too bad the skies are bad as it is a very good opportunity to gaze the stars!!! Why??? Cause we always wish there was a massive island black out so we can see the milky way in Singapore hahahahahah!!
Anyway congrats to Neil getting a job back at the cold storage again as a deli man. I should be almost able to work soon maybe just 1 month more....

Graduation day
25/06/04
Graduation Day
Yep Graduation Day! Woke up damn bloody early at 0600 hrs to have breakfast and preparation. Then I forgot how to tie my tie cause I lost my guide to "tying 4 different types of ties" which was supposed to be stuck onto my cupboard. So damn sleepy that I slept on the bus, met ryan in the next few bus stops, Leroy joined in the next few bus stops too haha. Then waited at the NP bus stops for the rest. Couldn't recognize some of the coursemates who have gone for NS. They look all the SAME! Talk about cloning! Yeh then went in and found out that We got gold award in CCA. At least they didn't screw up in this since we have done so much in our CCA. While sitting in the main hall, I got spotted by Thomas Tan, who have been chasing me to submit my NYAA. Damn! Thought I could avoid him.....
So the graudation ceremony starts yada yada yada, starts giving the empty scroll boxes. Then awards to merit students. The most amazing is the outstanding student who got 23 distinctions! Everyone was awed. They went WAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!
So graduation ends, snapped photos and went back.
At 4 pm, Joined Ryan, Leroy, Peishan, Jenny, Jiaming and Liting for Karaoke at K-ster in Lucky Chinatown. We had fun but our fun was spoiled by the bad service there. Then went to Maxwell centre to eat. Jiaming recommend us the fish soup here and it was really nice! My only complain was too much ginger lol. After that we had durians near CK department store. The durians aren't that good bu what can you expect of a $2.50 durian.... finally went home. Was so stoned and tired after a day. Ryan was nodding on the bus way back. Hahaaha. Pictures are up at the gallery in Photos 2.

Astro Fiesta 2004
19/6/04
Today went for my Astro camp to have a visit and look around. Came around 12pm when they were having their lunch break. Chatted around, then later it's their games time so I can't really join the fun due to my injury, so walked around chat with Selene and Neil, then go talk with our camp's Chairperson on how's is she going and any problems. Haha I feel I'm like a human resource personnel. Nothing else to do so I went to Ginza Plaza to have a look at a music shop called Luther. Inside the plaza seems quite empty but one shop caught my eye is a japanese fish shop selling lotsa kind of edible fishes!!!!! Oh my I'm so tempted to have a look and bite! So went to the music shop, and finally bought my electric guitar for 218 bucks! I'm so happy!! The owner was very nice to demostrate the use of the amplifier and helped me to tune and straighten the neck. The guy called Zack told me that he learned his guitar skills also by himself and said that the rock music in the past was much better than today's rock. I tend to agree cause rocks of yesteryears even can do ballads which is so so so nice and touching. A satisfied customer! Came back to camp to see ppl play games then see some Germans or Finnish play soccer on the field. Dinner time at least I get to serve dinner to the participants hehehe. With Neil around camp is always fun! But didn't stay for the night as I was tired and I need to rest.
Tested my new toy today and damn! It's a whole new experience! I finally can play rock music (NO LINKIN PARK PLZ) with distortion effects from the amplifier. I felt my speed has dramatically increased after playing so long with my old aucostics guitar then switching to electric. Wow!

Dreams
This was the first song that I wrote for a girl but I found that I can mean many things in life that we pursue. I dedicate this song to my friends with a message: Work forward don't dwell on the past.
Dreams by Hitori
Dreams, you're my reality
kanashimii(sadness), I dream of you
I see, alone from the start
How could I be, a dream for you
If dreams come true
I know that you are mine
The dreams for you
How could I find
If dreams are mine
You know I survive
Dreams, only dreaming of you......
Can you ever show me love?
Will you kiss me on the lips?
Hold you love is what we had
How it's true...

Finally got the acceptance letter from NTU for Biological Sciences today. But the way they say is abit crappy like what you are specially selected from blah blah blah. But I should be greatful that I can be accepted into local U. Also it's lucky that the deposit is just $100. Imagine to secure a place you have to fork out 400 bucks! Education ain't cheap. Waiting for the day to come
The TV's blinking

Back
Hi guys! I'm finally back from the hospital. Now I''m currently resting at home slowly recovering my wound. What I can say the stay at the hospital is a nice and traumatising event. I had my surgery done on Sunday morning as the doctors found that my appendix had already exploded. Mine was an unusual case as I was still able to walk around while normally people will have so much pain that they can die. But it wasn't smooth as my wound got infected after surgery. Then the doctors opened my wound without anethestic to clean it up and start to dig into my wound with his fingers almost every morning! Imagine the pain!!! But the nurses there were great as they took good care of me during my sickest days. Thank you so much!!! I will like to thank all my friends who visited me, thanks for your support!

Sick
Have you noticed that I have not come online for the past few days? Fell sick, very sick. It started on a Monday with abdominal pain. The pain worsed later and I have to see a doctor. This is not the first time I had this but this is the longest period of pain I had. Days gone by? I lost count. Pain and fever. Doctors don't know what caused it. Well I searched the web and found it could be Cohn's disease, some stress related disease. Until now it still hurts. I hate myself being weak..............

Relax, eat, drink
12/05/04
Well finally the presentation is over. It's a good feeling although it's actually the least stressful presentation we had. Haha Kisa, always be prepared for the unexpected, remember that ok? lol. Anyway after that went out with Weching and Patsy to Orchard where they watched their Van Helsing and I was waiting for them to finish their movie for 3 hours!!! Spent my time in Taka reading while waiting. Now I know the what time Japanese school girls will show up in orchard and what time other school ends lol. Later in the night had dinner with Yingfang, Weiching, Dawson and errm tong li?(Sorry I forgot your name!!) at Sketches. Ate once or twice there before. I like Sketches, espcially where you can design your own pasta and the serving is actually quite big so it's actually quite value for money. Next dinner with dear please!

Watched Troy today. It's a great film, although I feel that it's not really epic compared to LOTR. I just wanted to say...........ORLANDO BLOOM IS A BLOODY BASTARD!!!! SUCKS I TELL YOU!!! He can only act in LOTR AND NOTHING ELSE!!
What's delightful is I had a really good dinner with Lance today. We were celebrating his diploma with merit and my days in NS soon. We had yaki-niku, a totally japanese bbq at hotel meridian beside PS. And OMG the beef there is DELICIOUS!!! It's the first time I had tasted such delicious assortment of beef and also OX tongue which is super delicious! Of course such delicious meal often comes with a price. It's 44 bucks per person. Haahahaha this kind is those long long time eat once only. AMAI!! (Sweet!)
