Stealth

Watched Stealth today with Neil at PS. It's a totally action movie with a very simple plot. Basically just go for the action where you see planes flying at high speed and lots of explosions. Not bad if you wanna just watch a totally action based film. 3/5 stars.
After the movie went to this fast food chain called 'Pepper Lunch' in Takashimaya. It serves japanese style beef steaks and the fun part is you get to cook the beef yourself! Anyway the food is totally delicious! OMG the beef is really good. I ordered a marbled beef meal which is really YuM YUM! However you gotta queue to get in cause there is really a long queue for this fast food. Luckily we didn't really have to queue for long to taste such nice food.
Went to HMV to look at some CDs. It's really a long time since I touched a music CD. Totally lost touch. Got new L'arc~en~ciel album! So tempted to buy but gotta wait for my next measly pay. Grrrr. The low pay we have is really not enough to sustain us NS guys. Got lots of things to buy..... wanna buy gameboy advance, DVD writer, CD. Argh so sad.
After that went for supper, walked to behind orchard to find food chains of kopi tiam and some cheap cuisine. Had Kaya bread, before heading to play lan game.

Shit comes rolling down

Hell came into camp in the morning, first thing we did was to clean up the mess that the monkeys made during the night. The whole rubbish bin was overturned and rubbish were all strewn over the toliet floor plus there were monkey shit on the ground. Apparently there was a BANANA in the rubbish bin plus lots of tibits wrappers and the staff didn't close the toliet door to keep the monkeys out. Too bad our OIC (Like Principal of our school) was pissed off by the mess and came scolding the whole school for eating food in the office. Well this didn't end like that, instead later our course commander came to us and scolded us saying that he heard complains that our class eats in class and threw the rubbish into the bin when it was actually the Perm staff who were the real culprit. How wrongly accused are we. Too bad we are just trainees so we will always be the scapegoat. Well of course our course commander was F*ed by OIC, so he came to F* us. This top to bottom F*ing is called "Shit Comes Rolling Down".

Toddler Pulls of Dangerous Stunt

What the Heck! Just came back from jogging around my estate when I saw this toddler walking towards the middle of the road. I quickly ran and carried off the little baby before a tragedy happens. 1 malay family was close by and I thought the baby was theirs but they were actually bystanders who saw the incident also. Luckily the cars are still a safe distance away. Apparently the baby's sibling who were nearby were too engrossed in playing with their game that they TOTALLY FORGOT THEIR BROTHER! I brought the baby to the malay bystanders and let the family scold the absent minded kids. PLS PLS Take care of your kids esp toddlers who can walk.

Selene's BBQ

Went for Selene's BBQ on Saturday night. It's like a mini gathering for us old astro members. Finally get to see Ray, Junkai and Evan again after quite sometime after they entered the army. Ray is in OCS! HAha he slimmed down quite alot. Evan and Junkai leading a good life also. And we got our newest Recuit from BMT, Aaron! Apparently he was posted to Dragon company which was just opposite of my previous company. Somehow NS guys always have something to talk about in common. It's something that non NS people can understand. Really! Until you are really in NS, you'll be quite clueless what are we talking or complaining about. Junkai still as blur as before thinking that it's Selene's Birthday which is not. Hahahaha. Too bad can't find Peising cause we somehow lost contact.

Don't you just love computers?

Sometimes I just hate computers......These few days I got a problem with my bittorrent cause it seems to be downloading very slowly. Was quite fustrated with it as I kept tinkering with different kinds of settings related to my firewall and router. Finally got it working again just now. Today's lesson was a damn real torture as we had computer learning in the lab the whole day. It's soooooo tiring just looking at the screen just to listen to lessons written in macromedia flash and they just repeats the same stuff again and again...........plus within a sub title there are more sub sub titles! Arhhhggg was so fustrated I almost threw the whole mouse away! Boring till I just lost the fight with the Z monster.

Shallow Sleep

I just saw you
Beyond the course of time
A room that we once shared
But my memory's a haze
Forgetting what was said

I gently held out my hand
And in that perfect moment
You disappeared - I lost you over again

In a shallow sleep I dreamt I was seeing you
Just how I remembered, brimming with tenderness
And somewhere in the clam
A feeling that nothing had ever changed
Your presence close beside me till I wake

I just saw you
A moment far too brief
Before the daylight came
But my heart is beating fast
Perhaps we'll meet again

In a shallow sleep I dreamt I was seeing you
Just how I remembered, brimming with tenderness
And somewhere in the clam
A feeling that nothing had ever changed
Your presence close beside me till I wake

I see you - until I wake from shallow sleep

An artist without a brush can't paint upon the canvas
Without you here - there is no colour, a colourless landscape

In a shallow sleep I dreamt I was seeing you
Just how I remembered, brimming with tenderness
And somewhere in the clam
A feeling that nothing had ever changed
Your presence close beside me till I wake

I see you - shallow sleep

Anything Can Change With Time

Went out for a gathering with Patsy, Yingfang, Weiching, Ivy, Weili, Chi Chien and Dawson at Marina Square. It was nice meeting again those who went Australia for so long. But it seems so fast that months had past already and they will be graduating soon either this year or next year. However I'm just like a man who just came back from a deserted island, every piece of news was just so shocking. Well at least I'm a little bit updated now. I'm just fated to live that kind of life.
After dinner, Weiching and Yingfang left early with someone sending them off *cough*. Anyway the rest stayed on to have ice cream quietly..........everyone was just quiet cause we were just tired after a long day. Later went to the Esplande sat there, downing beer. After a while it started to rain, went into the building to stone until about 2.30 am finding that we were almost locked inside the building. The guys and Patsy took their nightrider while I took a ride with Ivy back home with her parents.
Woke up today with a new beginning, going for a movie later in the evening.

Stressful Times

Whew! Just finished 3 exams last week for my Ammo course. What we do is have lessons and then exams just a few days later. And they are tough cause it's just too much to study. Too busy to blog hence haha. Estimated about 2 exams per week for the rest of the course, somemore got practical.
Had my dinner on Friday with the gang at Ang Mo Kio eating crabs as a farewell dinner to Jenny and Cherie as they are going to Australia for studies this Thursday. Played pool after that with Ewan, Ryan and Leroy but we sorta played late in the night that we had no bus to go home. Lol
Saturday was at Leroy's house with the gang for lunch prepared by Leroy. He's a great cook, delicious food! Then later moved on to Orchard for a walk and shopping.
Heard someone is back from my "spy". But no news yet.

War of The Worlds

Watched War of The Worlds yesterday with Neil and Yanru at Marina. Many people say that it's not nice at all but I differ. It's a good film to go for! This movie is scary! There's some sort of pyschological horror experienced when you watched the film, though Tom Cruise's was not protrayed much in the film. Well the movie ending was quite abrupt cause it follows the ending of the book. Overall 3/5 stars!

A Fright

Was playing game halfway when my hard disk just suddenly spluttered some last words and died! Gosh! All the past photos I taken are all gone! There was no way to revive the poor harddisk back to life. It's declared dead after a few restarts. Luckily I have another harddisk to reinstall Windows back and get my computer working again! Whew! Planning to buy a DVD burner now since the price has dropped.

What Girls want

Friday was a good day. Was quite slack as the lectures ended quite early and just waited to get home from camp. Went straight to NPAC to check out their newly aquired telescopes: 1 megrez, takahashi refractors and a dobsonian. Finally got to see a dobsonian and get to play with it. It's HUGE about 10 inch in diameter so it basically look like a mini artillery. Looking at the stars and Jupiter though it was a whole new experience as the contrast was amazing! I could see the Great Red Spot quite clearly! Although it was quite heavy to carry it around. It needs about 2 person to carry and man the scope. But I'm sure it will amaze the participants with its size and power!

First Day of School

The first day at SOA (Sch of Ammunition) was a bore man. There's a shuttle bus to take us there. It's actually a course for us to train to become an ammo tech. There was also a storeman training course. And LOTS of storeman trainees and only a handful of Ammo techies (You can use your fingers to count!). 98% of the trainees there are PES C ppl. Well most of them seem to be chao kengers. Today whole day just sit there waiting and waiting until it's time to go home. Nothing really happened except that the ammo techs seem to be the sai kang warriors again (Arghhhhh!). During fire drill we were the "fire fighters" while the rest of the storemen just stand and wait. And we are going to be the toliet cleaners! Oh man.... Somehow it felt like going to secondary school again.

Very meaningful phase from Batman Begins.

Batman Begins

This film is one of the greatest batman movies I've ever watch. It tells the story of how Bruce Wayne becomes his alter ego Batman. The dark nights of fear and corruption of Gotham City is back! It's truly engaging plot keeps you glued waiting for the Dark Knight to appear to fight baddies in town. Great movie! 9/10 stars!!!

Now left Mr and Mrs Smith to look forward to.

The Lion's Trail

Went for the Lion's Trail aka National Education outing. It was quite interesting, first stop was to the NEWater plant to take a look at how our own piss can be converted to pure drinking water where it goes through ultrafiltration to remove any impurities and organisms then another process called reverse osmosis to filter out all the virus and harmful bacteria. Finally the water is then passed through Ultraviolet rays as a safety precaution to kill any remaining virus or bacteria. The result? Ultra pure recycled water. After that went to the Changi Chapel where they show all our Singapore's history during the WW2. The last stop was at the "Johor Battery" which was a HUGE gigantic cannon which was used in WW2 to keep enemy ships away. Apparently it was useless as the Japanese forces attacked by land.
Got my posting today, got into the service sector instead of combat. Guess what I got? Too bad no SISPEC.

Still a Break

Still enjoying the break I had, slacking and playing computer games. Yesterday celebrated my mom's birthday at our family's favourite vegetarian stall at Victoria's Street. The vegetarian food there is fabulous and cheap! Today did a some jogging to burn away those excess fats accumulated during the break. Ate a lot of junk food, so gotta keep my blood pumping instead of oil. Dun wanna suffer again after the break.

Grenade!!!

Grenade throwing was fun! You could really feel the shockwaves from the explosion. They can really kill!! Took the grenade, waiting for my turn to throw. Finally when it's time to throw the grenade usually you have to pull the pin right? It's not as easy as what you saw in the movies. The freaking pin is quite difficult to pull out! I think you could break your teeth if you use them to pull haha. Then with the armed grenade in hand I threw it towards the target and took cover behind a concrete bay. BOOM!! Hahaha fun! But the shitty part of the day was that we ended early in the afternoon but we must wait till 8 pm to book out! ^*(%*&^($%&#^! All because of enlistment day. ARGGG!!

POP Loh!

Passed out on Wednesday and was promoted to become a Private after being a chao recruit for 13 weeks. It's a joyous moment as everyone was waiting for this day to come. Parrents were there to share the very moment with us watching us graduate. First there was the parade to show how good our drills are though there were moments of bloopers by a few blur kings that entertained our guests. Then after that there was the VIP inspection as usual and finally march out. We rushed to removed our helmets and webbings before again running in to the parade square where our parents will don our cap to signify the glorious moment of being soldiers. Then the Graduation! Where everyone threw their caps up in the sky and hugged each other congratulating one another on their promotion. We are now PRIVATES.

Later took photos with my parents and platoon mates before rushing back to get our ali ba ba bags. Boy I had a lot of stuff to bring home! The damn bag weigh as much as me! And the rollers didn't really help much. HAha. Jumped into the ferry and back home sweet home!

My Section mates!

I still need to put on some weight.....

You Will Never Walk Alone

Finally completed 24 km route march! It was the most very physically and mentally gruelling march of BMT. We started at 1530 hrs where the sun is still up and burning on our heads. We started as a whole school group like a marathon but still remained in our platoons. Marched the first 4 km carrying a heavy fieldpack and 2 litres of water plus our trusty rifles. The first 4 km was a bit tough due to the heat. Then rested for 15 min before going on to the next 4 km and another 4 km intervals. After completing 12 km of road. We had our dinner at about 6 plus. We were so hungry and tired. Our legs started to ache already and shoulders hurting. Rested about 1 hr till night falls. All right, the last 12 km! Having rested and eaten, our platoon morale was super high! We sang non-stop all the way for the 4 km like those non-stop music hits and fast march all the way going like 5 km/h. But the last 8 km was the worst as we had to march in school and we are not supposed to sing so we won't wake up those School 2 buggers. Everyone were like marching zombies, all mentally enduring the pain and tireness. Finally we completed our march with a finale song, encouraging each other that we are reaching the finish end. It was an achievement that everyone will remember. There were blisters on our feets, toes bled, soaking uniforms from all the sweating. Finally over.
However, as we are in the army, there was never so called rest. Our rest period was doing all the sai kang stuff like carrying supplies and area cleaning. We had even PT lessons! But at least PT was toned down a bit or else we will die from injuries hahaha.
8 June will be Eugene's and my POP day! Looking forward to it! Oh yea congrats to Neil on his promotion after his 32 km road march! (8 km more!) That will be another endurance test in time to come.

Tsubasa Chronicles

This is one anime I'm looking forward to watch every week. Features most characters from CLAMP. Must watch if you like CLAMP's animations like Cardcaptor Sakura.

Unleashed

Watched this show with Ryan and Neil today after my book out. It's really a good violent movie to watch. I think it's one of Jet Li's best movie. Though he has very little dialogue in the movie, he makes up for his acting and fights. The story really gets you excited towards the end! 4/5 stars!

Final Fantasy VII remake

Remember playing Final Fantasy VII on your playstation or PC? Seems there may be a remake of the game for Playstation 3. Here's a video clip on it's demo fully rendered by PS3 engine!

Final Fantasy 7 on PS3

16 km Route March Done

Yay 16 km route march done! This route march seems easier than the 12km march during SIT test. Then got my re-range where I joined another company for shooting. It's a long wait just to go and shoot. It's either eat or sleep during the waiting time. Worse is we end damn late about 2 am in the morning and we have to wake up about 5 am the next day. Super sleepy!! What's more in the test, there's night shooting. You can't really see anything at all when you are shooting at the target. It's difficult to tell whether you shot at it or miss. And there is ppl who can't hit a single target even during the day. Well this week quite happy cause I passed my IPPT. Improved in my 2.4 km! Finally passed that!
Celebrated Ryan's Birthday in Lai Lai restaurant. Had their beef noodle there, ok nice. Then went to Raffles City to have some Gelato in some italian restaurant. The names they give the dishes are so alien, dunno what Roma, Jianpoli blah. Come'on! 24 km road march to go!
Another NS personality:

Bobo Shooter
This guy can't shoot for nuts! Give him a target and a gun, he will just waste his bullets. Sometimes he's so kind he'll donate a shot to his neighbouring target. He'll have to reshoot and reshoot until he pass. Wonder how he's going to satisfy his wife.......

POP is near

17 more days to POP! Can almost feel it. My bunk mates are counting down so accurately. Well I can't really remember when is POP day, just know that POP will be in June! POP means Pass Out Parade where it's a graduation period for us recruits. Too bad this week book out in the evening even though it's a long weekend, it feels very short. Next week it's gonna be quite packed. Got Basic Assault Course where we all will crawl in mud and shouting war cry. Then got Grenade throwing and IPPT plus SOC. SOC is quite the killer, just ask any NS recruit and they will tell you it's one of the most tiring course they ever done. Plus a 16 km road march, dunno my injured leg if healed enough for this and 24 km road march. Anyway watched Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith. It's not bad, but littered with cheesy lines. Anyway the story is finally completed so it's quite satisfying. Next movie I wanna watch is Madagascar. It looks very funny! Craving for chocolate and biscuits again! Have a bit of soya beancurd craving also!

Bad week

This week was really bad. Fell sick with a bloody fluctuating fever since Wed. The fever can go up to 39 and above! Went to see the MO everyday for the fever. First time was sent to sickbay for less than a day before being chased out. Then everyday got fever till my brains become a mush. For 2 days the MO didn't send me home to rest. And you know what they gave me? PANADOLS! STUPID PANADOLS WHICH DOESN'T EVEN HELP ME ONE BIT! It just brings my fever even higher. Finally on Friday I was able to get ATT C to get better treatment. For the 3 days I felt like dying, the headache was so painful that I felt that I had already suffered a brain damage from fever. It better not be brain damage. It took me 3 days to get better. I even have to take both western and eastern medicine. That's how bad my illness is. Somehow I feel that the left side of my brain is damaged already no thanks to the MO.

Another Outfield

Situational test is over. 3 days in the woods again but even more tiring than field camp. Everyday road march until shagged then go for missons. Did lots of roping and climbing around, up down left right. Best of all eating ration again. Hahaha brought back some of the ration home wanna try can find me heheh. Well this test is actually to test if you got the leadership skills to go OCS or SISPEC. Funny before this test everyone wanna be a men, then later they changed their mind to become a commander. Well Neil told me to go all the way so heck ah hoot for OCS even you cannot make it. Lol. Booked out on a Saturday night at 9 pm, morale was super high when we saw our tonner taking us out of the jungle cause we don't wanna march again back to camp. Everyone was rushing to get out of Tekong cause book out is always very precious to us. Book out Saturday night, book in Sunday again. Short right? Poor NSF people. Got home so shagged and hungry, we didn't eat our dinner cause rushing to clean up, throw our camp equipment back in our cupboards, pack for book out, etc. By the time I reached home is about near 11 pm. Too shagged to even go out to geylang with Ryan for good food. It's the "after outfield" effect you get. You just wanna eat something good. Hahaha. Well see you next week! Oh ya we got to see JC buggers and girls in camp last week for a visit to Tekong chalet. Poor guys, gonna get cheated by delicious outfield rations again.

Sunday, May 01, 2005

Labour Day

Whew! Finally got back from field camp. The feeling of coming home is great! Finally you can sleep in your own bed! Total of 7 days outfield. Well the feeling of sleeping in the jungle is not so bad cause of previous experience in Ubin, but the training and marching long distances is tiring. Out in the jungle couldn't really sleep totally, usually once in a while turn and toss cause of the hard ground. One word of advice is to put your clothes under your back to make your sleep more comfortable. Outfield rations really makes you crave for food back in Singapore cause some of the food really sucks. Man it's like eating toothpaste! The rice are bad but luckily the pasta are not bad. The dessert is the best! I always kept it for dinner to boost my morale after a hard day's work. Oh ya you can make cakes from biscuits! There the mosquitoes super garang sia, they are able to poke trough your clothings and you could actually feel a sting when they bit you! Don't even mention about sandflies! They are the worst as they bite you in swams and you never notice it until you feel the itch. Result? popups like chicken pox.
I think the most memorable was digging trenches cause it's the most tiring and it's like digging your own grave. In the night you get to sleep in it! It's quite an experience sleeping in a hole you dug yourself though not very comfortable. Hehe. Finally back in camp, I actually got more mosquito bites then in the jungle! Argggh. But at least I see buildings and soft drinks!!! The taste of a can of soft drink after your return is heavenly....

On Saturday evening, went out with Neil to watch Triple X 2. Not bad, nice action movie. Then later met up with Leroy and Ryan to go Geylang.............. for supper! Ate and chatted till about midnight before heading home shagged.

I am going to die at 83. When are you? Click here to find out!

Hmmm not bad can live that long despite all those running and jumping in the army...

Field Camp Soon

Hey hey it's time to update again. My leg seems to be healing although I'm running like a person with prosthetic leg. So still no go to running. This week was the funniest cause we appointed a our famous blur guy to become our Platoon in-charge. He always screws himself up, we just laugh and laugh, even our seargents tried their best not to laugh. After this book out it's gonna be confinment cause need to go for field camp liao. I think everyone hates that. Hmmm now for more NS personalities!

Kan Cheong Spider
This guy very nervous about every thing stuff we do, may it be fall in or waking up etc. Do things every uptight and want it fast. Sometimes in the end he just fumbles and screws up instead.

The Big Mouth
This ass just only knows how to talk big and order people around but don't have the initiative to do it. Sooner or later everyone will just ignore him and let him clear his own shit. Very irritating.

The Blur Cock
This guy is just so blur that he can make the seargents laugh or cough blood. Well this guy may not be the same as the Sabo King cause he will be saboed by his own platoon mates. Sure to become the platoon in-charge for once. The best entertainment you can get.

3rd Book Out

Woo Hoo! Book out in the morning at around 11 plus. It's a wonderful experience to book out early. Anyway my leg seems to go for the worse. I found out I had a small fracture in my foot when I saw the MO. Shit. This is very bad as this will be pain + no training = useless plus my BMT has just started. It's still painful when I walk/run. as it's concentrated on the top part of my foot. I really wonder how long before I can fully recover. Well it's pretty boring this week as I did not do any exercises at all. Just doing all the shitty work then rest. Anyway celebrated Leroy's birthday at Kushinbo in Suntec. It's a buffet dinner and there's lots of variety of food there. It's quite worth eating there if you are a Japanese food lover and has a huge appetite. Before that went out with Ryan to search for Leroy's present, in the end we got him a Addias voucher. Hmmm it seems that when we are getting older, presents just seem harder to think of. Weekends seem so short... Well in the army you get to see lots of personality hmmm let's get started with types of NS recruits you will see:

Wayang King
This guy tries to act like a leader, volunteers for whatever posts they can get their hands on. Screws up and gets fucked in the end. Usually comes from a past military background like NCC, NPCC, Boys Bridgage etc. May become a future commander if he doesn't get screwed too much by his superiors and platoon mates.

Sabo King
Everyone fears and hates this guy as he will be the one who will cause everybody to get screwed for every mistake he makes. Usually blur like sotong who can't get simple instructions in his head no matter how many times he's been told. A Wayang King's worse nightmare.

The Nerd
This guy is a scholar in his exams but when it comes to reality he is as good as a Sabo King. Somehow he's stucked in his own la la land with cows and sheeps. Deadly. Easy to spot with nerdy looks.

The Garang
This guy don't know the meaning of torture. The first man to run, do push-ups, whatever exercises to the max. Loves the feeling of being pumped by his superiors and can even give a smile. This is a tough guy to crack! Maybe a flu bug will bring him down. Tough man don't last..

The Chao Kenger
This guy will try every means and ways to get himself out of exercises and even out of camp. Each one of them will outdo each other for the highest number of times they saw the Medical officer and how much they can slack. Experts in chao kengs will get the help of professionals to refer them to downgrade. They are the elites. One of the most hated people.

Hmm that's all for today more will come when I can see of more.

Back Again

Hey I'm back again! Booked out on a Saturday evening and reached home at around 7 pm. Going back again today at 7 pm again. Man this is really no life sia. In tekong have to rush, now back in mainland also have to rush. Rush to meet up with friends, it's difficult to go shopping when all the shops are already closing. Then rush to buy army stuff later and rushing to get healed. My leg hurted badly after Saturday's road march, so went to the Chinese sin seh this morning to go for therapy. Wah lao can hear a big crack when the doctor pulled my leg! Back to pikachu status again. Gotta see MO when I'm back in camp for excuse from excercise. Argh I need more sleep!!

Outing Day

Oh woke up to a beautiful morning where I can see the sun shine when I open my eyes. Watched cartoons then asked the gang wanna watch a movie. Chose to watch Robots in the end at GV Marina at 4.50 pm. Watched more cartoons, then went out to beach road to buy some army stuff. Met Neil over there too. Went to Bugis for a walk then to City Hall to meet Ryan, Peishan and Jenny. Went to buy the tickets but only left the 2nd row so heck just buy it and watch. The movie was nice but just OK, not to fabulous. Some parts are funny though, it's more targeted towards kids than adults. Went on to the Esplanade to sit around and finally back home here typing my blog and gotta type some testimonial for my commanders. Argh!

I'm Back!

Yay finally! My first book out after 2 weeks in the Army. I was quite tough in there, the first few days was a rush. Kept running here and there, up and down. Plus my bunk was on the 4th storey so you can imagine everyday running up and down four storey of stairs! Ate alot during these 2 weeks and I can really see that I became a little fatter. We always dreaded running excercises cause we need to run alot. The last 2 days before bookout, my legs cannot take it liao, hence suffered an injury plus our platoon had the fever passing around. I got it in the end of bookout day. So became a "pikachu" (bai ka bai chu) for the last 2 days.

A Hiatus

This blog will be on a short hiatus as I'm going to serve the nation which every guy will have to do. Right now I'm still feeling relaxed but tired cause have to keep buying stuffs to bring into camp. Heck it's like alot of stuffs to bring! The feeling is like going for overseas studies but this time is going overseas to torture yourself plus confinement. After I'm back, be prepared for army blogging.

Boring and Fun Day

Hey hey it's another boring day staying at home playing computer games. Played A3, some MMORPG which is actually just a series of hack and slash. Boring. Then played Sims 2: University, fun but takes too much of my time. But later went swimming with my youngest sis in the evening. Woo hoo the new swimming complex near my home looks very nice though it's smaller now. Learnt freestyle swimming from my sis cause the only style I know is frog-style cause it's the slackest haha. Swam around, relaxed, play "diving for oysters". Hey I learnt how to dive to!

Sick bastard

Great after sick movies, we got a sick bastard who lingers on Akire's blog for such a long time, especially on her eye-candy post and spewing hokkien vulgarities in my blog. Forget it you are not her eye candy ok? So stop fantasizing.

Came across this term called "blog-stalker". Now what is a blog-stalker?

A blog-stalker is a person that resembles a normal stalker, in the way that he or she wants to know EVERYTHING about a specific person. They want to know what you eat for breakfast, or what your fav. tv-shows are, frankly, they would buy your personal TRIVIA game, if you ever made one. Stalkers are obsessed, and blog-stalkers are similiar in this point.
A typical Blog stalker is MALE (and hetrosexual), probabably past his teenager years, but since he had a very dissatisfying childhood, he tries to make up for it by stalking. He didn't get alot of attention in his past, nor did he get the girl he wanted, so he's going to stalk instead. He's probably shy, unless drunk, and hides his name and appearance because he lacks self-confidence.

Yep asshole that's you. We are watching YOU.

Another sick movie

Watched The Woodsman with Leroy, Peishan and Ewan at Cineleisure today. Well actually they were planning to watch the Series of Unfortunate Events but there were no seats. Seems that today there were lots and lots of people! So they chose a film which we never know what was it, but I saw the review was quite good. Anyway it's another sick film on a guy (Kelvin Bacon) struggling with his sick pedophile past. Shall not spoil the ending but the film is neither too good nor too bad. Some scenes were quite a turn off.

After the movie met up with Jenny for dinner but had a hard time finding something to eat plus Leroy got Cheesecake cravings. Finally setted at Bakerzin in Paragon. Yay finally can eat! Plus ate some cheesecakes lol.

Hitched

No I'm not getting married but raving about this movie. Met up with qx and Lysia for lunch and since today is the opening of Hitch, decided to catch the movie too. They ended school early so meet them at the bus stop outside NP, just nice saw Kenya at the bus stop waiting to go home so asked he and his friend along. Arrived at Westmall, bought tickets, had lunch then to the movie!

Hitch was totally hilarious and entertaining. 90% thoughout the film constantly tickles you with laughter with both Hitch and his client who was getting his help to woo the girl of his dream and at the same time Hitch getting a girl that he loves. Totally hilarious how Hitch teaches the right way to get the girl you really love. Very interesting and light-hearted film to catch with your date or your good female/male friend. Just try not to watch the film with a person of the same sex. You will just feel gay hahahaha. A must watch film!

After the movie, the girls did a bit of window shopping for shoes. Then headed to the bus stop for home. While waiting, I found out that they left me a birthday present: a Naruto Konoha headband and a cap for my soon botak head! Wanna thank qx, Lysia, Junwei, Jonathan, Selene and Max for the gift! Thanks! Love it!

21 Years Old

Happy Birthday! I wanna thank my friends for their birthday wishes!

Well today spent my day playing games and guitar while it's raining outside. Mom bought me a small bottle of red wine! It's really cute as this is the first time I see such a small bottle of red wine looking like those bottles of energy drinks. Hahaha I've already started drinking alcohol before liao just didn't tell my parents. *Secret* Shhhhhh.......... hehehe. Drink in moderation lah of course not indulging in heavy drinking. It's bad for health drinking too much.

What can you do when you reach 21? First you are an adult now, no more teen now. Second, you can watch R21 movies. Third, you can now pick up girls in clubs without being chased out by the bouncer. Lastly, your parents will be wondering when will you get a girlfriend so they can play with their grandchildren in the future. Hahahaha.

Celebrated my 21st with a cake! Thanks to my mom! Happy Birthday.

Birthday Celebration

Celebrated my 21st Birthday with the League and Ivy at the Rice Table in Suntec! It's an indonesian restaurant and was there for a buffet lunch with everyone and the food was great! It's really delicious and yummy!

First met up with Ivy at the bus stop but she wanted to buy 4D so she told me to leave first if the bus arrives, but waited so long for the bus in the end she finished buying her number and came back and I'm still waiting. Took the MRT later instead of taking the bus all the way to City Hall cause we by the time we reached our destination by bus, we will be late. Then met up with Jenny, Cherie and Ryan + Ewan who caught up with us later. Leroy was the first at the restaurant. Then the rest came in one by one later. Eugene was the last and the latest person to arrive. We've already finished our food then he arrived. Tsk so late hahaha. Received my present from them! I had a hard time guessing what was it even though everyone was trying their best to give a very obvious hint! Opps I'm not good at guessing! Anyway it's a black G-shock watch for my soon coming army days! But I guess I won't be wearing it during BMT, maybe after my post out! Thanks A lot!

After a full lunch, they went to Swensen's for another sinful eating. Icecream. Got tricked by them when they secretly changed my order to the Birthday Icecream. Forget the name. Chatted walked around, some left for home. Left Ryan, Eugene, Neil, Jenny, Cherie, Ivy and I. Went to Marina Centre to look at some models before Dawson came. Ryan and Eugene got their night cycling later and Neil needs sleep so they left. Ivy thought there was a sneak preview of Hitch today but found out there was no sneak preview at all!

In the end watched "Closer" with Ivy, Dawson and Chien Chi which was recommended by Cherie. Wanna kill Cherie after the movie! OMG the whole show was about SEX. It's another changing spouses story but it's like loving her/him for the sake of sex. Thought it was some romance story cause the beginning was like one. Then from then on it's just I love you cause I think you are good in bed. Oh ya it's M18 and there were some nudity. The thing that is good was the ending but somehow you have that feeling of WTH? Somehow the movie is trying to protray a deeper meaning but it falls shallow. I think this film appeal more to the female audience.

After the movie went to Long John's for a bite. Thereafter to the Esplanade to sit around and chat. Daoxian can really crap alot! Had alot of laugher listening to him crap, him dreaming of being Prince of Dubai. Hahaha. Ivy received a call! It's from Patsy! Had a speakerphone chat with 4 person chatting over 1 phone. It's good to hear her again. She's doing fine over there though her net connection is not up yet. Listened to her talk about how's life there and chat for about 40 mins before saying goodbye cause we're worried for her phone bills. Back to group sharing and crapping till 3 am plus before heading home.

Hunting Cameras

Went to penisula plaza today with Candice to check out the prices of cameras for Astrophotography. First went to Cathay Photo to check out the prices of Canon 20D and Nikon FM3A. The Canon 20D is about $2.9K! Wow wish I got the money to get that! Super cool. Then later went to John 3:16 to check out the price, it was cheaper for the kit, about $2.8K if I can remember. The Canon 20D is really making me drool. Anyway suddenly thought up of purchasing another equipment that is useful for Astro! A Video cam! Hahaha. Went back to the shop again to check out the price of the video cam, then went to Sony and Canon's showroom to check out the models. The new sony video cam looks very nice to play ahhaha. Cool next time can produce our own Astro drama serials hahaha!

After a tiring search went down to the foodcourt to let Candice had her lunch. Poor girl, she only had Old Chang Kee to munch on after her lecture before meeting me. Then went down to Gramophone to check out the music cds there. Bought Guns & Roses best album. Sometimes I just like old rock ballads. They are really nice, just can't forget X Japan's Ballads, the best!

Evening, returned back to NP for astro. Went to watch some singing competition cause one of my junior was singing in the finals, performing as a group singing F4 song? Eek. Hahaha I wonder which part will he sing. Anyway didn't stay to watch them perform as I can't stand some of the singing. Some were too loud it's jarring on the ears! But some sang well. The guys can't make it in the solo singings. Back to astro again for chit chat and jokes! Much better!

Bad Weather

After these few days of scorching hot and hazy weather, it finally rained today but the rain doesn't seemed cool at all. It's like warm rain? At least it will slightly quench the thirst of all the vegetations in Singapore.

Bought 2 new PS2 games recently, The Devil May Cry 3 and Xenosaga II. So it's back to playing games again. At least they cured my boredom. Review for Devil May Cry 3: Very very stylish game, a must get game.

Target Found

Today afternoon while daydreaming about pretty girls.....

My youngest sis: Gor gor, you know Yingfang?
Me: Yar (Still dreaming about someone)
Youngest Sis: Today got one boy in same class tell me he's sister know you leh. (I know long ago le just didn't tell you hahahaha)
Youngest Sis: He said you look very different from me. (Hmmmm so I look like who? Takuya? Hehehe)
Me: Hahahaha (Aiya the game ended so fast)
Youngest Sis: (Ran out happy with her new found discovery)

Aiyo should play the game longer. Both my sis and her brother are actually studying in the same class except that they didn't know each other. It's such fun watching siblings playing hide and seek! (I'm bored you know!) Hahahaha good job for her brother who managed to identify my sis in such a short time!

Hiaz didn't get to taste 10 million dollars from TOTO. Only atari 1 number, so much for beginner's luck hahaha!

Tonight there's a new anime showing on Arts Central! It's "Last Exile" scheduled to show at 11 pm since 12 Kingdoms has ended it's run! Seems like a good anime to watch.

Gameboy Advance SP looks fun and nice!

Post V Day

~Yawn. Woke up in the morning to accompany my mom and grandmother to pray at the temple for good luck. Then later went to make plastic specs for the army and another for civilian uses. Some of the army specs made me look like Jaycee Chan (Jackie Chan's son). Ahh maybe they have all the same purpose, prevent unwanted tao hua hahaha. Chose a frameless specs for civil uses to replace my old heavy specs of mine or else my nose will grow bigger each year due to the weight!

Another Bon Voyage

Just came home from the airport. Met up with Ivy downstairs at the bus stop ready to go to the airport to meet Lynn. Such a coincidence, Lynn saw us in the train on the way. Finally at the airport in Terminal 1 again, this time sending Patsy overseas. Then Dawson arrived to join 4 of us. While another large group consist of Patsy's other friends. So took a few pictures for memorance and finally sent her off at the departure entrance. No one cried at least, except for Patsy who controlled before rushing in to the departure hall to cry where no one can see. The same tragedy happened again where this time Kok Guan was too late to send Patsy off. Wow...........Deja Vu. Patsy will be gone for 10 months. Will miss all of you. Bon Voyage!

V Day

Happy Valentine's Day

Just for today, a song for you.

Enjoy.

Outing with Astro ppl

Went out with Lysia and Yanhui to shop around for some of their stuffs. Supposed to have Qiao Xuan also but she "flew an aeroplane" last minute. Well I think I made a wrong choice of accompanying 2 teenage girls around as shopping with them is very tiring! Well it was quite an eye opener for this Valentine's Day as Takashimaya has a lot of very nicely wrapped chocolates. The packaging is really very attractive that it seems that you buy the chocolates only for the packaging! And I'm not buying any since I'm not going to give any sweets at all for V.day. Although I bought some Chocolate with Scotch Whisky and Volka in to share with the Astro ppl.

Walked around, got hungry and bought a bun which Doraemon loves to eat. Haha not bad at least it satisfied my hunger a little. 5.30pm, Selene's brother came and the rest has not arrived at all. So we went ahead to Heeren's Marche to get the tables first. But seems that Marche has a very devious plan to force each person to spend at least $15 of meal even for kids! Somemore we had about 10 persons and once confirm the seats that's it! If one person or more decided not to come it will be a great economic disaster for us! Anyway the staff made us wait at the entrance for a very long time that I was quite fed up and told the rest to change our eating location also told the staff to fuck off (But being such a nice guy of course I didn't fuck them lah). Brought them to Waraku Jap Restaurant to eat instead. We got a room and didn't have to wait much either! Whahaha! Later Junwei, Qiao Xuan, Juntong and his friend came. Ate really full again! Then drank tea and ate Japanese sweets from Qiao Xuan. Finally Henry came. There was this Japanese guy which I think he's still new here which we find him very hilarious cause whenever we tried to order from him he will get other waiters to take our orders. He's only in charge of refilling our tea and serving our dishes. The girls found him cute as we just kept disturbing him and he was very polite. In the end he was defeated by us when we gave him a big stack of notes for the bill! I think he was very afraid of handling such large sum of money hahaha he gave us a thumbs up! Hahaha

Thereafter we took a bus to walk around river Hong Bao to see the night life there. After that we ate our alcohol chocolates and went home.

Bon Voyage

Today went out for a treat from Lance with his friends at the Soup Restaurant in Suntec. The food there is not bad. We ate until very full plus still have to eat ice cream cake for his birthday. After that we separated and walked down to the Esplanade to take some photos as it's been a long time since I went photo journaling last year. Went up the roof took a few shots. It's really scorching hot in the afternoon!

The Shadows of Windows

The Sky and Roof

Then walked around the river Hong Bao to see anything new, the exhibits doesn't look interesting. Well went around snapping some which I think is nice and interesting like the windmill and wishing well... well it's more interesting watching people throwing coins for good luck. Saw a pretty girl also trying to throw a coin too, she reminds me of a JC girl I knew during ANE 7. Feeling that the angle is just nice and snapped as I wanted a throwing action. The photo turn out not bad as I seldom do live shots.

Windmills

A wishing well with a selection of charms to hit

A girl trying for a wish

After that saw some amusment rides that I have never taken for a long long time. Feel like going for a ride! HAha but didn't.

Finally headed to Changi Airport to meet the League for dinner at Popeye. Some fast food outlet which only Changi Airport has. It's the first time I took the sky train! Haha last time always didn't have the chance as it's aways sending people in Terminal 2. This time it's Terminal 1. We chatted around and again topic of the day is the Army again. Then as the time approaches we took some photos! As Weiching is also flying today went over to chat with her but was surprised that I only saw her family there. Her rest of the gang wasn't free. A bit sad! Took a photo with her too. Supposed to have Yingfang but she came too late as Weiching need to fly already. Back to Jasmine as we sent her off. Awww touching. Bon Voyage Girls!

The League

1.....2....3....and 4!

Weiching and Hitori

After that finally met up Yingfang but however she missed sending Weiching off. Then she wanted to roam around the airport while I was to go home. But was feeling guilty leaving her alone after she rushed down here to meet up, so ran back to accompany her around. So chatted along the way around Terminal 1 and 2. But too bad the plane gallery at Terminal 2 is closed for renovation. The gallery at Terminal 1 was not very scenic. So in the end decided to return home.

1st Day of New Year

The 1st day of new year! Also known as "Chu yi". Woke up pretty late today about 1030 am, dunno why I was feeling so tired last nite. Hmmmmm nice to sleep................
Anyway dressed up and went to my Father's relatives to "Bai Nian" and of course receieving hong baos! Well it's pretty much the same every year now that I'm grown up, go there sit, talk and eat.

Then back home to rest for a while before heading to my Grandmother's home which is my mom's side family. HAha same thing sit and watch television plus eating BAK GUA!!!. My favourite! All my cousin are now grown up and not playful anymore, so nothing to play. Plus my Aunt didn't bring her new puppy for me to play. I have one cousin who seems to let vainity get the better of him. Well he's very vain, he always make sure that he's very well dressed wherever he goes. He could take as long as a few hours just to get dressed! Well we think he's turning gay! It's like a 360 degrees change after his 'O' levels! Outrageous coloured hair, manicured nails? AND he wears EARRINGS!!!! Well this year is quite a shocker. A cock styled hair with tuffs of green hairs! Is this the fashion of today? Actually I'm really amazed with guys with hairs defying gravity! How did they do it? NASA should consult them on anti-gravity hair dos instead of spending millions of dollars trying to get a ballpoint pen to work in space. Well we kids tend to get a bit adventurous after our 'O' levels but he's abit far fetched.
Well at least that time was showing this HK movie called "Feel 100% 2003 version". Well it does keep me glued watching it as the relationship between 2 male actors and a few female actors is just sooo confusing. They kept exchanging partners!!! But the girls are soooo pretty...... Just when I was about to doze off, Yanru called to wish me happy new year! So sweet yar. Guess she was bored at home hahahaha.

In the night we had our "Yu Sheng" and Steamboat but the kids didn't eat much at all, they are just stuck to the google box. New year spirit seems to dwindle when we grow up. In the end I'm always the one finishing the food left. There was pork, chicken, fish, fishballs, I just love eating fish! And tomorrow there will be more fish for me to eat! My aunt always told me that the fish liver is the most valuable stuff in the new year fish, which makes it quite expensive. Dunno what fish is it but seems that I only get to eat it during chinese new year.

Happy Chinese New Year

Happy Chinese New Year!

Watched Constantine today! Well it wasn't a very impressive movie, but it wasn't bad also. It's just that the story is quite complicated that you just felt lost in it. It's also a bit draggy but the action is pretty nice and Keanu Reeves is just cool looking.

Bought a new Levi's Jeans today at Heerens! Haha I got to use my birthday present that my dears gave me. This will be my first Levi's Jeans I ever owned. The salesgirl just look pretty sweet! Today there's just a whole bunch of swarming pretty mei meis in orchard too. Too bad not my cup of tea, they are just eye candies...

Had my Reunion dinner with my family, so full............... so now watching the TV, playing computer and waiting for midnight to come.

Piano score anyone?

Hmmm does anyone has a piano score of "Wei Yi" by Wang Lee Hom? I love to get my hands on that though I think I'll take ages trying to figure out the notes. Anyway it's another boring day for me slacking at home. Packed up my room abit, I think I only cleared my messy table cause my room doesn't seem to need much packing when it's already so cluttered with stuffs I the only thing I can do is just make them look neater.

Happy Birthday Jas!

Today Jas held her be-early 21st birthday party before she will be leaving for Australia. Reached her home at 7 plus with Jiaming a few steps behind me haha. Saw Kenneth from my ANE 7 Astro camp, but didn't talk much to him. Don't know what to talk after so many years. Well the guys gathered around as usual to talk about army days hahahaha, you girls better get used to army guys complaining as they are the ones suffering in camp 24/7. We just don't know any other topics to talk lol. While the girls are busy gambling, Neil and I played the PS2 to entertain ourselves. Then it's time to sing a song to the Birthday Girl! Sang and then pulled those party poppers to celebrate! As the League's usual tradition, we got her a very Kinky underwear. Looks sexy hahahaha. It's the first time I tried the scotch whisky ohhhh man it's good! Especially when it's already 20 years of age. Ewan guessed the alcholic content could be as high as 60%! Anyway hahaha don't trust his words as they are never true even it sounds so right lol. What's more he made some unusual cocktail that just taste..... weird.

However we left quite late and the bus services has ended for Ivy and I. In the end we just walked home. Plus it's just midnight and taxis just keep stopping in front of us even though we didn't raised our hand! Had to keep rejecting those pesky taxis!

Happy Night

What a happy night. Met up with with Yingfang, Weiching and Patsy for mini farewell gathering as Ching and Pat are flying away to Australia for further studies.

Before that woke up around 10 am, then do the daily stuffs, drink milk, read newspapers, stoned, disturb my sibling's hamsters, play the guitar. Yay finally got the rhythm right for Luna Sea's "Love Song". Then initiated my mission at 1400 hrs. Hahaha it's top secret. Once mission completed, still got time so went down to The Esplanade to rest, read books and spying at JC kids trying to be intimate in public places hahahaha. Then took a bus to Orchard, gosh nearly got knocked down by a car while crossing the road in orchard near Taka! There was a large lane for traffic in one direction and another tiny little lane in another direction. I thought there was no car as the lane doesn't seem to lead to any road, then suddenly 1 black merces appeared like magic on that lane! Whoa! luckily I was still a few metres away but was quite shocked by that.

Found the girls in Orchard Popular, then had our dinner at Sakura in Far East Plaza. The food is nice! First time eating there as it's always full of diners. Gave Pat and Ching their farewell gifts from Yingfang and I, also received my birthday present! Thanks girls! As usual went "lim zhui" (drinking) after dinner. Heard that someone wanted to marry at age 51 hah? Hahahaha! Started crapping cold jokes lol. Orange ping pong balls anyone?

Amazing news in 2005

Funny this year seems to be a year of very amazing news publications. First we have this "Taupok" thing which saw some father of a "Premier" JC in Ang Mo Kio-Bishan area complaining about how life treatening to his son could be in a so called super sized me Big Mac stacking of human patties.

Now another one comes in with a "Despot". They do rhyme doesn't it? Where this guy Jamie Han called our MM Lee an "Enlightened Despot". That's a very rude word to put it by the way. And this guy wanted to be a teacher in the future! No wonder kids nowadays are able to spew out different kinds of vulgar languages even before hair starts growing out of their armpits. Maybe he's just sore that he got dumped before Valentine's day. Or maybe he's having SMP?

Hello KK

Was jogging in the evening around my neighbourhood and saw Kok Kong! Haha it's been a long time since I saw him after graduation. Chatted for awhile and he's working in the air force now as a technician. Seems that he's sign on, so ask him try for pilot see can since he's already in the air force. That will be great!

Beware of IRC

This is really funny:

Nabei Makes Me Full

Woke up quite early today about 10 am, my nose is really giving me problems as there are lots of mucus stucked in my throat. But finally got rid most of those sticky goo by the afternoon. Felt so much better! I can breathe!! Did a few workouts to compensate what I didn't do for the past few sick days. Then watched my Luna Sea: "Final Act Tokyo Dome" DVD.

It's a video of their last concert before they disbanded. Their songs are truely awesome and Sugizo cried at the end of their performance. It's a very touching sight.
Anyway met the girls at Causeway Point in Woodlands for dinner. Stood the whole way in the MRT to Woodlands......tiring!! Well saw Sara while waiting for Pat and Ching to come to the shopping centre from Library. Sook May and Yingfang having OT and Mirin got to attend classes, so left Sara.
We ate at Sakae Sushi, ordered some sushi, tamaki and a chicken steamboat soup called "Chicken Nabe". But guess I was too used to scolding vulgar languages I pronounced it as "nabei". Opps. Hehehe.
Patsy wanted to take some photos using her camera but there's something wrong with the screen as it is blank, nothing can be seen at all. Luckily there's my phone cam! And so they played with it taking pictures, switching partners, taking candid shots, see how photo crazy Patsy is? Tried a group photo with her camera even we can't preview the shot. Hope her camera returns back to working order!

Nice Treat From Aldrick

Back from lunch at Suntec! Well in fact from Orchard haha. Met the guys at Suntec at 2.30 pm, was a bit late but it doesn't really matter as they haven't made up their mind on what to eat. Finally we settled at the Soup Restaurant at the basement. Ordered a set for 3. The food was good, I think the ginger samsui chicken was nice. I think it's their popular dish as I see every different set meal had this dish in it. Anyway it's Aldrick's treat haha thanks! After lunch walked around then head to bugis to send Aldrick home, then went on to Sunshine Plaza to look at some anime DVDs and stuff. This is another place where you can get anime DVDs and other cute accessories such as trading cards, keychain, figurines etc and also my favourite gundam toys though now I'm too lazy to fix them as painting them is a very taxing job especially cleaning up the airbrush using tinner (It's not very good for health). Bought my toy magazine for March issue. After that went on to Orchard HMV to sample David Tao's new CD. Not bad, I think I shall wait for a while, maybe got new gimmick for the same cd like bonus MTVs.
Feeling better these days now, visited the Doctor downstairs few days ago before my illness gets any worse. And I slept more soundly now, in fact quite a lot. Hahaha the weather's been very warm and I just feel sleepy in the afternoon. Going out later for lunch with Aldrick and Lance at Suntec to celebrate our Birthdays. Wonder what are we going to eat?

Shallow Sleep

Hmmm still feeling sick. Shucks. Must be due to the lack of sleep which I have during the past few days. Couldn't sleep when I should be dozing off to la la land. Having lots of thoughts and ideas coursing in my brain. Most of them I can seem to remember the next day. Now being sick I should be able to sleep better..I hoped.

Ahhhhh Chooo!!!

Ahhhhh Choooo!! Been sneezing alot today. Woke up with slightly runny nose, then started sneezing a few times today. The weather has been very very hot these few days and there are quite a lot of people feeling sick. The afternoon sun is the worse, as my room is facing direct sunlight, the heat is hot hot hot! I think the temperature in my room is about 30 deg celsius and above! I think I'm starting to feel sick too, having a sightly dry throat and runny nose. However the night sky is gorgeous with these clear and hot skies! You'll be able to see Orion, Canis Major, Canis Minor, etc those main constellations currently in the sky. Lemme introduce Orion the Hunter:

It looks like this in the sky try to identify it! It's the easiest constellation to identify. (Hint: Try looking for it's belt)
Anyway as you can see in the picture he's got a colourful dick sticking out. Well in actual terms it's his sword and in it contains a some jewel called the m42.

NP Open House

Back to NP open house again to play around at the Astro booth and to explore again. I think this time the open house is really BORRRRING. But the freebies are quite good, there's notebook, nice pencil case, plastic file hahaha. Was there from about 1 to 6 pm. Then Thomas Tan, our Astro's Teacher-in-charge brought his 9-year daughter along to our booth. She's really clever, she can name us the planets that we showed her the pictures on screen and even some other stuff. Hahaha even better than some of our members Lol.

The Aviator

Watched The Aviator at Lido, I would say the film is really good. It really deserves a golden globe award for that. It's totally conclusive that all geniuses are madmen but not all madmen are geniuses. In this film you'll feel that the main character is totally brillant, have great goals yet he is exceptionally morbid. Give the film 4/5 stars, a must watch even you don't like the actor (Yeh I hate him). Oh did I mentioned that the show is 3 hrs long? Whahahaha!!
Went for the NP open house too, but was quite late in the afternoon so didn't explore much but I still managed to grab some goodie bags! Hahaha.

Drinks and Drinks

Went to Suntec with my family for lunch and shopping. As usual, my mom bought lots of stuff from carrefour again. Haha she always told herself not to buy too much when we are at carrefour but in the end it's always a trolley full of foodstuff, clothes etc. Came home, played abit of computer game before meeting Lance and his friend Cheryl at NYDC. Guess where it is? It's suntec again! Gosh I think I'm gonna be sick of the place again. Later ate at the Noodle bar. It's like a fast food restaurant but serves some of the local dishes like laksa, prawn noodles etc. Tried the prawn noodles, it's not bad and they have this tofu dish with green vegetable powder toppings on it which looks weird but it's actually quite tasty. Headed down to the Long Bar pub at Raffles hotel to have some drinks. I ordered 2 cocktails: Gin Fizzy and Tiger Lily. Gin Fizzy was nice, it has a very familar lime juice taste and not that alcoholy. Tiger Lily was a bit more special, it has suger and salt sprinkled onto the rim of the glass so that you'll get a unique taste when you drink it. But I think it was too sweet for my taste. Prefer the Gin Fizzy! There are 2 floors in the bar, the top floor is usually reserved for tour groups until about 9 pm which you can take a seat on the sofas or chairs. Before 9 you'll only get to seat at the bar counter!

Long Bar counter: Look at all the alcohol!

Astro Main Comm

This pix sure brings back some memories. A picture of my main comm members during our AGM.

Finally a letter!

Finally I got the freaking letter! After all the waiting, yeah! The letter! It's no ordinary letter, it's my enlistment letter! Hence I'm going in on 11 March to BMTC 1. Luckily it's not June. Oh yeah!

Oh-oh

Oh-oh.....mom's hinting me to get a girl again saying this year is a good year as there will be "tao hua yun" for those born in the year of the rat. "tao hua yun" means peach flower luck literally. Do correct me if I'm wrong, my Chinese isn't really fantastic. In other words means get lucky romantically or whatever as long its something to do with love. So those guys and girls who are still single..........you may be in luck and those attached..........ermmmmm try not to flirt around too much ya. Anyway for me I think it may be another few years before I can meet the one fated for me. So currently if you need a wingman or someone to screw up your love life you know who to look for! HEheheh.

Fucked up army

The army is really screwed up. I called the enlistment services a few days ago asking when is my enlistment, and they said it's either March or June! JUNE! FUCKING JUNE??!!! That means I may miss my enrolment for University! WTH! That means either I'll have to waste money and time to enrol again or go NS halfway for further studies then come back to repay my remaining services! Damn.

Disaster after Disaster

More and more photos of the aftermath of the disasterous Tsunami surfacing in the news. Refugees are fighting for water. And look at the dead bodies! They look like mud statues! It's a really sad sight. We are really lucky that Singapore is sheltered from such disaster due to surrounding islands. So please do a part to help the victims of this Tsunami!

Minutes after 2005 (From left: Jon, Ryan, Ewan, Neil, Peishan, Jenny, Jas, Me, Eugene and Leroy)

Oh yea. Hahaha. Celebrated the New Year with the League in Leroy's new house. First we had Dinner, which is really fabulous! Although it's leftover food haha. It's totally delicious! Just eat and eat till I'm full. Drank some red wine, then later the countdown to 2005! Celebrated with sparkling wines, then again Neil got drunk! On just 1 glass of wine! Guess he can't hold his liqour OR he just downed his drink too fast! Told him not to drink too fast! Well this is the second time I see him drunk haha. After the countdown, Ryan and I fell asleep on the sofa while discussing whether to watch Kung Fu. Guess our body clocks were used to sleeping early, was so tired. The next day had prata with the gang. Some special prata we saw were banana prata and strawberry prata. Banana prata taste not bad and strawberry prata just looks like strawberry jam. Lol. 2004 was a good year, we will be going onwards to 2005. By the next few years hope we will have our own yacht to celebrate.

Dinner: look at all the smiles!

Happy 2005 everyone!
