Sleep Deprivation

"Humans sleep about 8 hours a day. Wouldn't be wasting 8 hours of precious time where we can use it for more productive work? If we don't sleep, productivity will increase" - Thomas Edison

Read an interesting book today called the "Sleep Thief".

Thomas Edison once thought that if a person is able to stay awake all day, the world's production will increase. Hence he invented the light bulb. From this small little invention, it has changed the world. People now are able to work in the night, work in shifts. No longer caveman we are where once darkness comes, we are required to sleep as we can't do any work.

But by sleeping less will our productivity increase? Will we able to live a fuller life?

To be continued...
