Oh spare those hungry cows! Do you know the more cows to rear, the more methane gases is being produced by them? Methane gases actually contribute to the green house gas effect. Moooooooooo!


LED monitors!
Y have LCD monitors instead when you can have more energy conserving LED monitors! It can even serve as your desktop lamp!

Ban LAN shops!
OMG the noise pollution!!!

We're going to the Zoo Zoo Zoo!!

Went to the Zoo today with my friends for some recce trip, Cause we are going to hold some organization games for kids at the Zoo. Woke up at 6 am, sweet talk with lp before heading back to sleep. Finally woke up at 7 am, rushed to prepare my own lunch and headed out to Ang Mo Kio bus interchange. Met the guys, at 8.30 am, took 138 to the Zoo! After reaching there, we sat down for some brain storming for plans and games, before heading out into the Zoo.
Walked the WHOLE ZOO! So tiring! The recce trip was indeed not easy! We scoured around for animal facts at the same time enjoying viewing the animals. 好攰!!

Watched this today. I would say I'm not at all disappointed with it. Set in the time of Ancient Greece, where the story of 300 Spartans waging war again the might of the Persian. Although it's extremely violent, but the whole film is beautifully rendered. Well this film is not definitely for girls, holding a M18 rating, there's certainly lots of violence, and nude scenes. However watching this film, you could not believe but certainly stare in awe of this 300 Spartan soldiers against thousands of Persian army. 4/5 Stars!

Added note: this film was based on the comic book by Frank Miller who is famous for his violent comics.

Protege

This film is about an undercover cop learning the trade in the drug peddling world. Being the "Protege", he has to learn the traits and at the same time prevents his cover from being blown.
Well this film was quite good, it shows how bad drugs can do to a person and also shows what are the consequences and how harsh the law is against drug traffickers. Sentence is death.
The whole flow of the film is smooth except for the almost reaching ending part where it seems to rush so that the whole story will come to a close. Overall a great film! 4/5 Stars!

Shopping Day

Went Orchard today with Jenny and Peishan for dinner and shopping. Girls can't stop shopping! Learnt a few insights. Although it's kinda embarrassing but it's quite an eye opener. Lol.

IT Fair 2007

Went to the IT fair with my army friends, I was hoping to buy some RAM for my computer as 512M of RAM is now not enough with all the new upgrades of window programs. I guess now computer fairs are not only showcasing the latest gizmos and gadgets. It's now has become a great Lelong Sale. Prices being slashed, sales person shouting the lowest prices they got. Oh not to forget pretty camera girls showcasing their.... ermmmm photoskills. This IT fair's winner goes to the Sony camera girls. They got a whole squad of pretty girls to pose for all the hum sups and camera geeks. Anyway didn't get my RAM from there. Instead went to Sim Lim Square to buy. Haha the irony. The queue was just to long in the fair. Oh sorry no pictures of eyecandies for you readers. No camera. Hehehehe.

Doctor Doctor Can You Fix Me?

Went for my wisdom tooth extraction today. Removed 2 of them. One from the bottom left and the other at the top right. I was pretty nervous..... lots of pulling and cutting and even drilling. Well at least it's over now. The number of different antibiotics they gave is horrible. So many of them!

Letters From Iwo Jima

Watched this movie with Neil today. War Film. But a very good movie. Well shot, it's better than Flags of Our Fathers. Cause this movie is showing from the Japanese point of view. So after watching the American side in Flags of Our Fathers, you should watch Letters from Iwo Jima and ta da! You get both sides of the story. Watching this 2hr+ movie was so enthralling that you won't feel tired at all. It's funny at times and some parts you kinda feel pity for the soldiers. Recommended!!

Dinner at Rocky Pizza

Dinner at Rocky Pizza at Rail Mall. I like the pizza, it's delicious, with the crispy crust. Sick of pizza hut's pizza. First I thought 16" Pizza was very big. But it isn't so big with many guys eating.



Had red wine after that. Chatting and relaxing. Neil got drunk again. Lol.

Sentosa Flower Exhibition

Went with my parents to Sentosa to look at the nice flower garden for CNY. Woke up so early morning to reach there to avoid the crowds. The flowers are so nice. Took a lot of nice macro shots of the flowers. Enjoy!

Kiss Goodbye

Wanted to cook for LP when she's here in Singapore. Finally have the chance to cook something for her! Made her a spaghetti breakfast meal. So glad she said it tasted good.
Brought her to buy some Strudels for her to bring home and share with her family. She got another craving again. Nasi Lemak. However there's not enough time to bring her for a good Nasi Lemak. Next trip will be a better meal dear.



Sent her to the Airport with mum. So many happy times spent together with each other in Singapore....

Can't bear to let her go again....

Lost In Singapore Day 5

Valentine's Day

Our First Valentine's Day! Dressed up to go to Vivocity for a walk and shopping. Almost exhausted all the interesting places to go already kakaka. Singapore is just so small. Anyway decided to hop on the new train that leads to Sentosa. $3 SGD per person. Well there's not much of a nice view while riding the train. Moves too fast, then there's only 3 stops in Sentosa! Kind of a disappointment. Took a walk and a few bus trips around Sentosa before watching this 4D movie. Quite fun, there's really water spurting while you watch!

After that took a cable car back to Vivocity. The view was much nicer and the sun was setting soon... romantic! Actually this was my first time sitting the cable car. However I felt that the cable car ride I took in Ocean Park was much nicer. Wanna try the Ngong Ping 360 next time! Spent some time at the roof top of Vivocity before heading to City Hall for our dinner.

Lost In Singapore Day 4

Went to Ikea today. No, we are not buying furniture for our house. Just to look at the new Ikea located at Tampines. Said to be the biggest Ikea store in Singapore. Took a train to Tampines, then a shuttle bus to Ikea! Wow sounds exciting! Hahhaha! Anyway it's really quite a big building, inside it's really well organised into different kinds of furniture types. What I like best was those mini home set ups. We just keep trying on the beds and sofas around. So nice! However the trip was quite short, maybe we are not considering any furniture, that's why doesn't take us much time to walk around. Ate the $1 hot dog bun, nice sausage.
After that took her to Pasir Ris. However, the silly Daniel doesn't know that Escape Theme Park is only opened on Weekends. Gua gua gua gua....
But still got the time to rush to Plaza Singapura for a movie. Dinner after that at Wakaru Japanese Restaurant. Delicious! And I got a surprise Blueberry cheesecake from her! Felt so touched by her surprise!

Lost In Singapore Day 3

Day 3, brought Shirley to for Kaya Toast breakfast at Plaza Singapura. Forgot there's no Ya Kun (亚坤 ) at PS, we just settled for another kaya toast meal at another stall. Next time will bring you to Ya Kun again dear! Keke she's quite disgusted at our half-boiled egg, how we mixed it all up ending looking like shit. But it's very nutritious!

After that brought her down to Little India for a longggggggg walk. We walked one end to the other reaching Mustafa Shopping Centre. But realised that it's not the shopping centre she wanted to go to. In the end walked all the way back to the starting point finally found the shopping centre she wanted to go. Cause she wanted to find the shop in Tekka Mall that she visited the previous trip. Too bad she could find the food stall she ate last time. Ate at Komala's Indian restaurant instead. The food is just so so only. Not a fan of indian food though.
Took her for a walk in Chinatown looking at some of the Chinese New Year stalls along the streets. Bought some egg tarts! But before we could eat them, they were all gobbled up by my lovely mum. Rested for a while before heading to the Esplanade for some night views. From there took her to Lau Pat Sat to satisfy her sudden craving for laksa. It's already almost 11 pm and she suddenly told me that she wanted to eat laska!
